He always sounds drunk or hungover, probably because he has been.
Babcock is a similarly terrible analyst because he is boring to listen to and doesn't seem to have much of a personality.

Yup. Barkley is great TV because he rips players. Has Wayne ever ripped a player or even said something about a team or player that’s negative?

Outside of his role with the Oilers I would honestly question if Gretzky has even watched or followed much of the NHL in recent years. I don't think he has really been involved with hockey/NHL since the Vancouver Olympics. My expectations are low for him as an analyst.

That means TNT will cover three Stanley Cup Finals. The way it goes is:
2022: ESPN/ABC
2023: TNT
2024: ESPN/ABC
2025: TNT
2026: ESPN/ABC
2027: TNT
2028: ESPN/ABC
Wish NBA had that setup. Love Mike Breen/JVG/Mark Jackson but I wanna see Chuck/EJ/Kenny/Shaq in the NBA Finals.
