Tell me there is something good or redeeming about the people of Kelowna.
I’m lucky to be able to spend summers there. Love the lake, although it’s very crowded now to the point you can’t get any calm water to rip turns on a slalom ski, which is my favourite sport next to playing hockey.
If the Jets can pull this off tonite I’m buying about 20 brooms for delivery to my friends who are die hard Oiler fans.

Honestly nothing, I got married in west bank and loved it, but Vernon, Penticton and the shuswaps are way better to visit

My god I have gone through the entire day assuming the series was 2 games to 1. When I checked before bed last night it was 4-1 Oilers.
How deliciously glorious. This made my whole day. I am going to watch the 3rd period right now then go read the comments section at a certain oilers website

That was a hell of a nice shot by Ehlers in OT though. That said, the game shouldn't have even got to OT, the Morrissey wrister from the point that tied the game was the backbreaker.
The opening faceoff in game 1 was the backbreaker.

There are a handful of reasonable people.
There’s a much much larger bucketful of ####tards ranging from think they ballers to drugged out aggressive losers to old timey racist grumps.

I realize this is so so so far off topic, but I moved to Vernon last August and I really enjoy it. When I have to go down to Kelowna I kind of cringe because of these kinds of people. It's a lot of these same cringey people that seem to have the attitude that Albertans, as a whole, are all back woods yokels. As if Kelowna is some important cultural centre and not just the place where rich Albertans have their vacation home.
