Also noticed that just like in the Avs series, Smith starts strong then slowly (and then quickly) degrades into his true form at around the 3rd-4th game point.

Edmonton will, obviously, be going for broke tonight. McDraisaitl won’t leave the ice Going to be hard for the jets to match that desperation up 3-0. Can only hope Edmonton’s spirit is broken from last night and the jets are playing with confidence.

The guy has pretty much had 50% ice time as had Draisaitl. This is the stupidity of Tippett is now he's facing a second in back to back must win games in a series where the Jets have massively out hit the Oilers, and his two stars might not be capable of playing 25 to 30 minutes. Honestly he looks down the bench and he's in J Johah land
Crap, crap, mega crap, McDavid, crap crap gross, shyte, don't look at me doopey, crap Draisaitl.

How many has he lost in OT in the playoffs. He never makes the last save.

That was a hell of a nice shot by Ehlers in OT though. That said, the game shouldn't have even got to OT, the Morrissey wrister from the point that tied the game was the backbreaker.
Maybe it’s just me but I’m not a fan of the completely fabricated quotes, aka fake news, just to make a joke.
I mean it’s the Oilers — the jokes write themselves. No need to even embellish.
This is true. If the debate about him comes up, and someone like Rob Brown or Reid Wilkins start asking for evidence or precedent about him wanting to leave... it’s easy to flip the script and ask where the burden of proof actually is.
Why would he want to stay?
There are obvious things like a $100 million dollar commitment by the owner, but he could have had that or more almost anywhere.
A significant date will be next summer when he has fulfilled his mandated time in one city and could have been a free agent at age 25.

I love that the Morrissey goal started with McDavid sprinting back first ahead of his defenceman to retrieve the dumped in puck for some reason, and then flubbing the puck up the boards to no one for the easy turnover, then his useless defending in front of the net.
Moron.

That is the single most lethal half-assed wrister from the blue-line I've seen in a long while.
We are talking about an eminently stoppable shot.
