This is awesome. Why are American broadcasts so much better? A multiple cup winner saying it like it is. On SN we have a bunch of fan boys who are doing puff pieces on the Tragically Hip.

And NBC is pretty crappy so it shows you how really bad Sportsnet is. I think ESPN/TNT really raise the bar next year.

Only thing better would’ve been Michaels on the call so then him and Louie could’ve held each other and weeped together until the game was over, then they could both go and console Principe and Spector.
Of course, this is all on a national broadcast with those biased clowns, not a regional one.

Funny, I was thinking the only thing that would have been better would be if the Jets had someone like Jack Edwards who had been calling the game. This is just so much better because NESN was covering it.

You can listen to it, and it is even better with Propaganda Minister Bob Stauffer providing the colour.
Was thinking no matter what happens today its probably over, but nope, we need that sweep too.
This needs to be a refresher to oil fans and the pompous media personalities on what their team is and one that can be held over their heads for years to come.
Excellent lesson on how playoffs and regular season are not the same thing.
The choker reputation they're building in the nnr mavI era is all too perfect.

I thought of that game as well. I was in a bar in Halifax at the time with a bunch of Leaf fan investment bankers lol.
Jack Edwards doubted we would ever see anything like that again. Can you imagine if there were fans at the game last night.
