The guy was 100% right though. He thought Connor should take accountability for the losses like other players on the team when he's contributing to them too. Most grounded take from one of theirs I've heard in some time and they ridicule him for it cause they're snorting the McCoke since he stat padded his way to 100 on basically three teams they consistently blew out.

Since we don't have "game takes" with the fancy stats I would like to point out that Oilers are kicking the Jets in their nads as far as fancy stats are concerned.

CF 54.7% HDCF 60.0%

Other teams along with the Jets that are getting by while being badly out corsied are are Vegas and Tampa.

Boston and Colorado dominated their fancy stats as well as their series.

The only place that the Oilers are losing the stats battle are Hits, FO and special teams along with OT goals and wins-losses... and oh save % Hellebuyck 2nd in the playoffs .958 Smith 13th with .914.

It would be sane for the Oilers to play Koskinen rather than go with the best 39 year old goalie in the playoffs today.

Draistl was correct --- Hellebuyck not likely to give up 4 goals again

Man... When even Eddie Lack is throwing shade...
I’m guessing he’s not buddies with Smith after their short tenure as a tandem.

Hamonic has more goals since the playoffs started than McDavid. As does Ritchie and Mackey.

Gotta take responsibility. Ehlers last night, after scoring the winning goal, in his interview talked about how the fourth Edmonton goal was his fault, he bit on the pump fake by Larsson.

Then I watch the 4th Winnipeg goal. The poor clearance by McDavid and then when Morrissey has the puck, i don't know where Puljujarvi is going.

And he’s coherent. McDrai was a whole bunch of unintelligible mumbling and pouting.

The caller compared the 6 year career of Crosby to McDavid and I could tell the hosts were losing their minds that someone could ACTUALLY think that Connor could be blamed.

I lol’d pretty good when the caller brought up that the Oilers lost against the worst-seeded team in the 2020 play-ins with Connor to blame in that one and they just reverted back to “hE hAd 9 pOiNtS iN 4 gAmeS”

Just absolute cringe.

This is the most Oilers clip ever.

Lazy clearing attempt by McDavid. Lazy winger playing way too high. Bad defence from #13. Sieve goal by Smith.

The only thing missing is a wide open player and a “this guy scored” moment.
