Must be nice to win McDavid's, Matthews, Crosby's, Mackinnon's, etc

All we get are Monahan's, Tkachuk's and Bennett's.

Just enough to be decidedly average....at best.

Backlund. He was invisible.

That's not ideal.
That was beautiful and reminded you of the skill he has.

It’s sad honestly. I like these players and liked watching them play but it’s just so obviously not happening here. And it’s even kind of sad that Darryl is now presiding over this.

This team has gone so horribly stale. Long past time to make changes.

He just slithered in past Quinn somehow.

Well the bad news is this season is over. But the bad news is I don't know what we're going to be able to salvage in trades for any of our "stars". The bad news is we still have to suffer through this season.

The bad news is Covid is destroying us physically, emotionally and financially as a country. The bad news is we don't have a good hockey to team to watch during these times. The bad news is the Oilers are doing well. The good news is its a short season. The bad news is next season will likely be a full one.

Not that I feel any confidence that the Flames would've won anyways, but that was the poorest officiating of the season. Absolute garbage.

This is a good thing though. (Hopefully)

This is disinfecting the bacteria like bleach. Or assessment of an old building before tearing it down to build a brand new one. Whichever analogy works.

Result as expected or there has been no expectations anymore. Let them run through the motion and hope Trev, Monahan & Co. will be gone next season. I rather to see some new faces with energy to play for the team

He does it once a game every game, just to piss me off that he doesn’t do it more.

With the top line struggling to score we need Dube and Mangi to step up. Neither has.

Just not enough scoring power. Markstrom takes heat from here, but really, the team gives him nothing. He knows he has to be perfect to win, it probably paralizes him.

Time to move on from the dynamic duo. Sadly the return will be disappointing. What GM would want them for a premium?

One of Gio’s best games this year.

Actually they played fine but we are well last the point of needing fine. If this was game 1 of a 7 game series you wouldn’t be feeling too bad.

Gaudreau - Lindholm - Dube
Tkachuk - Backlund - Mangiapane

Should be the top 6 next game.
There's a serious disconnect going on here. The only thing wrong with Monahans game right now is he's not scoring goals. If you're going to tell me Monahan is Johnnys problem I'm gonna laugh. Reality 8s, Johnnys a bigger problem for the team. If he's not putting up any points (unlike a certain whipping boy tonight) he literally brings no value. Can't check, won't check, can't depend on him to gut out pucks in the corner. Whereas Monahan is actually in there shift after shift getting all the little things done.

Really sick and tired of all the Blames falling on Monahan. Or most of the blame. It's pure horsecrap.

Gio has been playing well since Sutter arrived IMO. Not much offensively which is too bad since no one else is doing anything, but his D has gotten much much better. Turns out he wasn’t the reason Rasmus is struggling, because he still is.
