I don't care about Stone being in, but I'm frustrated about Kylington not being in.

They are trying to hide Kylington from Seattle I assume. Pretty sure that is the plan.

I disagree a bit. Yeah, he likes him, but he also has pulled him out of the lineup as well. Ritchie is what he is - a player that skates hard, competes hard, checks hard, with 'some' ability. I can understand why Darryl likes him, but scratching him completely also shows that he isn't in love with him.
I am more surprised that Robinson hasn't had a turn yet under Darryl. There is a guy that I think Darryl would like too.

Yup. Players also respond best to different tactics and that's Sutter's job to determine. Sutter "admitting" to it being "his bad" for not giving Tkachuk enough ice time was his tactic to motivate Tkachuk. He sees him as a player who wants to lead and wants to be counted on so Sutter is saying out loud he will put start putting him in these situations. Tkachuk just needs to respond and answer the bell.

I wonder if the Flames are scared of Kylington getting picked in the ED. Because in all games that I’ve seen him, he’s been nothing short of a mainstay in the top 6 (imo). His skating is much too valuable to not be in the lineup with the speed that the NHL uses.

At least Stone will probably play like he gives a damn.

I think (don't think I'm alone) that they're considerably better on paper than they have been on the ice since about February 10th.
You're welcome to your opinion of course though.
Hard not to count the number of coaches they've been through though. Playing less than the sum of your parts for what seems like a new coach each year is coaching killing to me.

Pretty sure Michael Stone breaks a sweat every game.
He's always been an honest hard working 4/5 guy until the blood clot issue.

Hard to do that from the press box?
Dude has not played a game this year and only 43 the last 3 years
Like I said, I do not blame him. This is all on Treliving

I guess you can't place 5 or so players in the press box, he is focusing on the youth
As I would think some of the vet's are going to be moved in the off season

Yeah and look at the way he is doing it. Sits Valamaki and Dube quietly while publicly calling out Gadreaus poor effort last game. Shielding the rookies and torching the vets who aren't bringing effort.

He played 82 games the season before his blood clot, and the club's first 14 games up to the diagnosis.
Hasn't been the same since.
The Stone acquisition was never an issue, not sure why the focus on that.

When I look at the roster, overall I would personally definitely rather have the following rosters in the league (just based on paper, not based on standings)
Toronto
Winnipeg
Tampa
Washington
Vegas
Carolina
Colorado
Islanders
Florida
Boston
St Louis
Philly
Dallas
I would have the Flames roster below those 13 rosters
I could make the argument that the following are better and personally do think they are better
Edmonton
Montreal
Vancouver
Pittsburgh
Columbus
Rangers
Arizona
For me I would have them as the 21st best roster in the league. I would personally have an impossible time putting this roster in the top third of the league and a hard time even putting it in the top half of the league. I think the coaching turnover in part is because of extraneous factors (Peters racism) but more because Treliving thinks he has built a top tier roster when he has built an average at best, likely below average roster.
