The players are continually tested every day and NHL players have more league mandated restrictions beyond the government ones. Vaccines don't guarantee you still can't be a spreader.

NHL players are also getting tested every time they come to the rink IIRC.

I'm not a business. But I have a business and the lack of travel is killing it, destroying what I've worked hard to provide for my family. Thanks for your concern.
It doesn't seem unreasonable to me that the rules should be the same for everyone. If testing gets the NHL players out of quarantine faster why isn't that option open to others?

Don't get sucked into it. Most of these kind of comments come from people with no real life impact from the boarder closure. It isn't worth it.

On a per capita basis (pool of NHL players) I believe that since the NHL started they have had a higher case rate than Canada in the same timeframe. I'd have to pull some data and do the calculation to confirm though.

It negatively impacts the Flames. With the original rules, the Flames had the upper hand in selling high to the rest of the division. This just adds more competition on the market. Thanks Trudeau.
