I got some money in my dapper account for my NBA top shot moments. Being in Canada I can't withdraw as you can only withdraw to US based bank accounts. Trying to figure out which would be the best cryptocurrency to set up so I can start using that to buy more moments or withdraw. I know nothing about that stuff and would like to know which would be my best options. Any help is appreciated

You better be careful with this because it can be very volatile. A few things to ask yourself, are you wanting to watch it daily and have your finger on the trigger ready to sell at a moments notice? Or you want to play the long game and not be glued to the news and daily charts?

There’s over 5000 alt coins out there and I’m sure there’s a select few that might give you some pretty insane returns or do the opposite and loose everything. I feel like in the next few years only a handful will break out from the rest. I look at which has the bigger network effect.

I only follow Bitcoin and I’m seeing other Institutions doing the same. Are you hearing about companies buying anything besides Bitcoin? No. Are banks and governments accepting anything other than Bitcoin? No. Follow the money.

I sense that a lot of people feel that Bitcoins price it too high and they’ve missed the bus. This is not true, it could break $1million dollars a Bitcoin in the coming years. This is predicted by a number of analysts.

There’s some psychological thing that people feel they need to own a whole of something like 1 whole bitcoin. This is silly because a bitcoin is divisible by 100,000,000 Satoshis. You can buy today 211,600 Satoshis for $100

I suggest you and everyone starts doing the DCA (Dollar Cost Average) method. Every week, month, or whatever fits you. Buy a little here and there. Regardless if it’s a bull or bear market. Overtime it will appreciate and you’ll thank yourself later.

I sold all my ADA last week when it was at a high of around 2800 Sats, then panicked and bought back in too early at around 2657 Sat's... Meanwhile it went down to like 1700 Sat's before rising again. Being impatient cost me a huge opportunity to buy back in at a much much lower price... I'd say hang in for a bit and see what happens before you buy back in.

I'm not looking to ADA for a quick buck, this is a long term position so even buying now I'm not too worried. Would just be nice to time it better than my last purchase when it was at $1.60

Keep an eye on the daily highs and lows and try to buy in around the low if you can. I'm in longer term too I just like to buy and sell to add some when I can. As another poster mentioned there is always a price correction.

FYI, NDAX.io is a new Canadian crypto trader (Calgary based) that lets you buy Cardano directly. Way simpler than buying on one exchange to send to another to trade to ADA

Coinbase Pro opened to allow ADA trading today, which more or less coincided with a massive drop.

You're only allowed to question the veracity of having a perma-chub for BTC Billionaires if you too have multiple coin holdings (but only BTC counts).

Also lol imagine owning crypto bought with fiat like a pleb instead of mining it all for the last 10 years.

You are free to not answer, seems odd a guy that posts negatively about crypto every day is invested...curious what you own.

My Crypto is all in this thread

10 Bitcoins $1500 each bought in early 2017
4 ETH
5000 Cardano

the last two change daily as I trade those and a few others

Its a crypto thread the rest is irrelevant, nobody has to answer. Just seems strange that someone who posts 100% negative is invested, curious what they have actually bought.

In the Stonks thread people posts their buys and portfolios all the time...good buys are congratulated. Too much butt hurt in crypto, not sure why I even post here. At least I know some of you that PM'd me to ask about the halving got on the rocket.

banks are drawn to money like flies to ****, a vast market of not particularly informed investors trying to give away their money is enough to make Jimmy Gorman wet his pants

There are buying billions worth themselves and offering it to only their most wealthy investors. They are also adding exposure to many of their funds.

I'm not sure you understand what they are doing, they have chosen to add three external funds to their portfolio, Galaxy Bitcoin Fund LP and the Galaxy Institutional Bitcoin Fund LP and FS NYDIG Select Fund

They have nothing to do with the funding or management of the funds and they are offering them to clients under very strict conditions to limit risk, they themselves arent buying bitcoin
