How does a goal get scored and the guy who scored gets less air time than the guy who gave the puck up?

On the goal highlight we won't be seeing McDavid coughing that one up.

There are so many jobs that can result in serious injuries or psychological issues. I'm not discounting it. But when you are a 6'3 guy with little skill you know what you are signing up for. You don't have to sign that contract..

These are men that made a decision for themselves.

Anyways, probably better to open a new thread to talk about fighting or hitting in hockey.

But but but surely the best player in the world could have caught up with Dube!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

McDavid could use a coach like Sutter to teach him some defensive discipline.

"McAvi" is such a great nickname. I was inspired by the poster who came up with "Raisatl."

You’re right. I retract, I was angry.

Apologies.

You want to get him back? Do it in-game without punching a human being in the head.

You'll never convince me fighting is needed tactically in the modern NHL, especially with everything we know about CTE and the measures the NHL is taking to curb that in the structural bones of the game.

Its part of the game, you know this, so its your choice as to whether you want to see it or not.

Players also know and accept its part of the game and it is most certainly their choice whether to play or not.

Its part of what separates hockey from other sports.

Amazing how much better the Flames look when we don't let McDavid skate through the neutral zone at will. A little pressure does great things.

Also to watch Mcdavid skate as hard as he could yet still not be fast enough to catch Dube

They should really do a compare of McDavids top speed when it comes to offense vs when playing defence.
