There has to be some serious stuff going down at the saddledome. I turned the game off after the 1st because it's a hot mess. There's a rift. And I think we have a divided locker room. And the coaches can't handle it. And at this point, Trees walking the plank. Definitely feels and sounds like the death knells of a management group.

All night, I was looking for the Flames to go to the hard areas, nobody did not one, there was no net front presence, no lane drive. MT did that between the legs thing that everyone knows is coming. In the last 2 minutes with the goalie pulled, they were content to pass the puck around the outside, and nobody drove to break up the Oilers box. Nobody pushed their way to the front of the net.


Frack man, its just lazy hockey, and as much as I think Ward is a doofus as a coach, the players have to take responsibility too, They were the ones that play with one hand on the stick and one hand waving players off so they don't get hit. They are the ones that show no determination offensively.



You want to shock the world. Rip all the letters off of the leaders, no captains no assistance. the leadership group sucks.



I think tomorrow night instead of watching the game, I'm going to rent a copy of Sophie's choice and slowly rip my eyes out of my head with a chisel.

- Poor first six minutes but both teams settle down from there
- Not a lot of passion in the game
- Bennett benched for the third at -2
- Rittich solid overall, can't be faulted for either goal

Every player is taking an extra second or two with the puck which makes the game slow. Is it because they are trying too much or because they are playing with new linemates everytime.

Yep, he's been good in some areas, but hiring coaches has been an absolute tire fire. I don't want him in charge of another coaching hire.

- Monday: Reunited with Lucic and Dube, plays great, line gets praised by Ward

- Wednesday: Starts on the fourth line with Nordstrom and taxi squad Ritchie

- Friday: Benched for the third period

Bennett mentioned that he didn’t know if they were trying to play mind games. What else can it be?!?

Tre has multiple years left on his contract too, doesn’t he? I think there is almost zero chance that either of Tre or Ward get fired any time soon.

We heard after the loss to Dallas that the Flames players were apparently extra disappointed to lose the series because they believed they had cost Geoff Ward the coaching job, as they really liked him. Maybe that should have been the first sign that Geoff Ward is not the right coach for this team?! Why are we giving this team a coach that makes it fun and easy for them but doesn't seem to make them better?

And I've been generally fine with Ward up until recently. I'm also fully aware given the bizarre circumstances of this season that a coaching change is extremely unlikely.

But jesus ####, Gerard Gallant and Bruce Boudreau are both looking like no-brainers at this point.

Feels like us fans need to start paying for bilboards or better yet, gofundme to raise money to hire a real coach because Flames Owners aren't going to pay for one.
