Whatsbthe head to head for calgary vs edmonton lifetime?
I suspect pretty close to 50/50. The '80s were not kind to the good guys.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
For some godawful reason an Edmonton journal article on the oilers came up on my Facebook. Probably because I clicked on the ‘James Neal’ waived article a couple days ago. Like a car accident, I read the article. The banner waving is strong up there these days- it made me sick ... the article brags that the oilers are so deep with actual NHL players right now they can scratch ‘actual nhl players’ because the team is doing so well.
And I quote ‘especially on defence, which has been a black hole for decades’. Has?
Also in the article:
- Neal is a useful player (no mention of how much they are paying him to be on the taxi squad )
- Khaira looks big, fast and confident
- the oilers right side of defence has become an area of strength
- Evan Bouchard has elite skills and pedigree
- Ra-ra, go oilers, we are the best franchise in the world

I can't wait until the end of the season, as the Oilers fall back, and the fans are complaining about how they got screwed having to play good teams, when everyone else has games left against the Senators.
This needs to be bookmarked. 100% that's going to happen
Edmonton has played Ottawa four times, and won every game. Winnipeg has played Ottawa five times, and have won four.
Yeah exactly, it's a big part why the Oilers are even propped up in the first place. But the fans will forget all that come the spring final stretch and call shenanigans

The Jets and Oilers play a two-game set in Edmonton starting tonight. Who will win between the dumpster fire and the crappy team that can beat only Ottawa on the road?

There have been 4 games for the Oilers this year (23.5% of their season) where they scored 4 or 5 goals. Total of 18 goals for scored in those 4 games.
Alas Edmonton is No Good as they somehow allowed a truly absurd 26 goals against in those same games, causing them to lose all 4 in regulation. Score 18 goals for in 4 games and not even a loser point to show.
