Yeah, Mangiapane, my bad.

So what happened to Ball and Hrudey's broadcast? Can I still watch them calling the game somewhere, or did Sportsnet just tell them to go home?

Ward definitely does need to have a different set of x and o's to implement to his system.

The current approach seems too easily countered. And just plain ineffective at times.

Did anyone think that the Bennett line’s shift on the Flames goal stood out , because of work ethic, compete level and execution?

Didn't like the penalty that put them done 2 men, still don't think it made contact. Pretty meh call to put a team down 2.

Started to take over the game once they got over all the penalties.

Fletcher is really the only candidate. And he gets marked down because he took advantage of his mentee Risebrough.

Seriously, he was better, though TBF he never had to manage a cap, and for a little while the Flames paid well (for the times).

Exactly, at least since I've been alive and watching, Treliving is the best GM in our history. Read into that what you will folks, doesn't mean he's amazing but come on, you can't tell me Feaster, Coates and Button are better. The only argument is Sutter

I should say, overall I do like Treliving. He works his ass off. My only real complaint now that goaltending is solved, is the coaching hires have been miss after miss after miss

Sutter's moves in the 03/04 season, including the much maligned Jason Morgan trade, makes him a better GM. Simon, Nilson and Nieminen were great moves, Kipper was ok too.

In fact, they had at least one other really good shift somewhere between the penalties.

The refs might get tired of calling penalties on the Flames and that line could benefit.

I think they have shown good hustle on the forecheck for the entire period.

They just don't spend enough time in the offensive zone (for reasons I have already stated).

Vancouver GM screwed over Greene by letting three of their best players go. I’d say Greene has done pretty good with what he has to work with.

Now Treliving has brought in a great goalie and two defencemen but also brought in a bunch of crap forwards . Ward meanwhile is doing crap.

He totally misjudged the league after the lock out season. Lydman for crap hurt us terribly.

Lucic - Bennett - Dube is awesome, but creates 2 problems:

1) what do you do with Backlund?
2) who plays with Gaudreau and Monahan? (because Simon adds nothing to the line)

Looks like Tkachuk is a little more awake today Seeing a little more hustle on his part.
