PP time as well. I’m just not seeing it with Leivo.

I’d love to see a guy like Torts behind our bench. Hire an absolute dick.

The Flames really need to learn NOT to shoot the puck back into their own zone when they're scrapping at their blue line - always go up ice. But no, they fire it back deeper into their zone, lose the puck (surprise!) and give up shots and goals. Dumb and dumber.

Failing to clear the zone so many times in one game is impressive.

That's on coaching.

2 goals in 4 games since awful AHL coach was forced to start playing him more. What a shock.

Bahhhh! You're crazy. Didn't you know coaches have no impact on the game once the puck is dropped. They're just standing behind the bench to get their pretty mugs on TV. Actual coaching only happens... ??? Hmmmm, going to have to hear from the usual suspects to explain when coaching takes place and how in game adjustments are made? Can't be coaches who do that. Must be the players doing it all on their own!

It's funny, Bennett finally gets to play on the top line and now has the same amount of goals Monahan has having played all the way along.

Coaching tells them where to be in different situations.

The other team's coaching identified that and exploited it, cutting off passing lanes and angles.

I'm amazed you think players elect to give the puck away.

This thread has plenty of embarrassing posts

Canucks blocked a ton in the first, and worked extra hard. This was a team who had lost 6 and was improving and put in extra effort

Elder got away with a couple. Then Tkachuk got away with one.

I do question Tkachuk. The points he has have been quiet ones. Glad he showed up after 60 as somebody had to, but would have (not “would of” - that’s not a thing) been nice if he contributed materially during regulation time

Guys saying Ward didn’t adjust? ####ing grow up. He adjusted to Mikael Frickin’ Backlund being out, plus Lindholm temporarily

Edit: Markstrom is a genius at goaltending

Best draft picks playing inconsistantly and can't be bothered to show up for 60 minutes of hockey and not the last 2 periods. It would be nice if we had a player that was willing to kick some butt in the dressing room and service notice that their play has been crap.

We are too soft a team mentaly.

On the downside he got walked twice on the game winning goal. Not just once, but a second time for good measure. Two opportunities to break up the play and his controller disconnected.

This is beyond Ward simply not being good enough. He makes decisions that either cost us games or prevent us from competing. We are worse for having him.

Leivo was useless all night. So Ward promotes him to the top line over better choices. He makes a terrible clear to give up the go ahead goal when he's on the ice with 5 minutes left in a tied game for no reason...so Ward puts him out as the extra attacker.

His system sucks, his player usage sucks. He can't read the flow of the game, or make an adjustment to save his life. His team is never prepared, and there seems to be zero accountability for anyone not named Dube.

These are the exact same problems as last year.

There is a reason Ward never got a sniff of a head coach job anywhere else. He's not good enough. Period.
