Extremely sloppy period. The Canucks won 80% of the puck battles but were just too inept to do anything with it. If we were playing a competent team we’d be down by 3 or more.
Need to reset, come out hard in the 2nd, and take advantage of this PP. And for the love of God, please stop sleepwalking through the first half of games.

Get something going with this PP and play DIRECT. 0-0 so just need to focus on this period. CGY played well for the most part in their end. Build on that but more is required in the offensive zone.
Get sustained offensive zone time and get something out of it.

That period wasn't nearly as bad as the shots looked.
Pretty back and forth but Vancouver was shooting from anywhere.
I thought Vancouver did a good job of blocking shots too, need to get more through in the 2nd.

Canucks are desperate, on a crazy losing streak. They're playing like it.
Flames are still trying to find their game. I want to see more from the skaters, but I'm not surprised at what we're seeing.
