That is the point. That is not today. It’s a PGT.

For years I have been harping on this team for being too soft and not having a good enough top line. I took a beating like tonight. But you know what, the joke is on you. I've been right. This team has what, 3 playoff game wins in the last how many years? Exactly.
I get it, not easy to hear the truth. But it's not any easier to see it and get jumped every time you offer an opinion. So cut me some slack. If only for the reason that I have been right thus far. I may be wrong going forward. But that is not today.
I don’t think anyone disagrees that they need to be better in the playoffs...just going to be a long and annoying season if you have to complain about it after a regular season win.

Tonight with Monahan and Gaudreau on the ice at 5v5 they were 1 GF and 0 GA head to head against McDavid and 1 GF and 0 GA head to head against Draisaitl.

I’ll take it for tonight and really it wasn’t even one of the best games of the season for the top line.

Good game. Everyone looked great from the drop of the puck.

I really liked when Monahan setup that winning goal in the game we are discussing in the PGT

Yeah Cassie was bad tonight, I have been her support for a long time. But tonight she was insufferable, really acting like a teenager head over heel on her idols every time McDavid stepped on the ice. And considered how many minutes he played, pretty much all game lone.

Count me as someone who would rather be wrong and be able to fully enjoy a win against the Oilers than be right and be a miserable loser.

No body cares about whether you’re right or wrong, nobody cares what you’ve been harping on for years. People are Flames fans, and if there’s one thing we can all appreciate, it’s beating the Oilers.

Hockey is fun, it is a game, it is entertainment. If beating the Oilers doesn’t bring you joy and make you forget about complaining for even one night, then I’m sorry, but the joke is on you.

Dr Drai and McDavid had 5:45 shifts to end the game.
Koekkoek played 5:16 all game.

Or make your point in one post, then read the room and when no one else wants to pile on Monahan in a negative light here and now let it go. I’m far from a Monahan fan but there’s no shortage of time and other places to get into it. Especially when he didn’t do anything negative tonight.

Well, I don't complain when they play decent. Do I? Examples please?

My point is this. Good win, needed that. But does every game has to be such a rollercoaster?
Is it wrong to question that?

What if they play a great game but lose? Are we not allowed to praise them for a good game?

On CHED they said they are the first athletes ever to be able to play that many minutes and never get tired.

Hey, take it easy on Koek and Koek. It's not easy for conjoined twins to make the NHL at all.

Leah Hextall, Jen Hedger, Kate Beirness, Andi Petrillo and others get regular praise for their work.

Not surprisingly none are in the toughest job in the business, PBP or colour commentary.

Meanwhile, every man who has either of those two jobs get roasted regularly.

But you never noticed then because they were men. And we all know the path to equality is with awful double standards and patronizing attitudes towards the women. That’ll make them feel equal and welcome.

Edit: I just realized this was Peter. Dude. Come on!
