Happy for Bennett. I was hoping he'd grab an Oiler and tune him up but he still had a decent game. Now what the hell happens with him? I suppose he helped his own cause. As Burke said tonight, "If you want to be traded, be tradeable!".
I also enjoyed Burke saying Virtanen isn't the player that Bennett is, effectively shooting down the 1 for 1 trade rumour that's been floating around.

Yesterday I said that I wasn't worried about them making the playoffs. I was worried about what they look like when they got there. I stand by that..
For years I have been harping on this team for being too soft and not having a good enough top line. I took a beating like tonight. But you know what, the joke is on you. I've been right. This team has what, 3 playoff game wins in the last how many years? Exactly.
I get it, not easy to hear the truth. But it's not any easier to see it and get jumped every time you offer an opinion. So cut me some slack. If only for the reason that I have been right thus far. I may be wrong going forward. But that is not today.

It's not that ashes woman it's just her pedigree and connections that allows her to remain. I'd like woman to be a part of mens hockey but maybe find some on who does a better job. Leahhextall was great. Here mistake was saying the oilers were not worthy of so many high first round picks.
