Gio should be on waivers the way he has started this season.
How many times do you think he has watched the game tape on Mcdavid? Same thing every time we play. He got beat like rented mule and we all could see it coming.
God do I miss Robyn.

On that, Hrudey is wrong...but for the wrong reasons. There is no penalty to be called whatsoever on the McDavid play. No trip, no interference. Just how a drive to the net plays out.
Also, McLean is wrong. Left foot, right foot. No, it's a tap on the skates. McDavid fell on his own with momentum. No penalty either way.

Meh, it's a national broadcast. They have to defend the McLottery at all costs.
Gio and Tanev played that well, and no you can't just skate toward a goalie full steam and bowl him over. Penalty every day.

This so ridiculous, there's no god damned right of way in hockey. This isn't basket ball. These idiots can literally drop dead.
No one mentions that the penalty call at that point was 4-0 though Edmonton was hooking and holding through the neutral zone in the first period.
I'm so sick of these Oiler propaganda prospects.
And no Cassie Connor's rehab wasn't the greatest one in history. How about Clint Malarchuk who had his throat slashed and nearly died. I think that's a lot more inspirational then a non surgical knee injury.
Or Bobby Orr who had several catastrophic knee injuries and returned to the ice? They didn't have the benefit of a documentary series that the injured player was a producer.
