I'd say most of the Swedes, Mony, Hanifin, and Dube have down serious flow. Even Johnny has pretty thick hair.

Now that was a great game.
Played fantastic hockey at 5v5 (special teams was obviously a mess) and didn't need to rely on Markstrom to steal the game like the other night against Montreal. They played the last few minutes leading to the tying goal horribly but aside from that...
Great win.

Iafrate was my first autographed card i got as a kid. It was an UD base card in gold pen and was my favorite card. Really had no idea who he was and still dont. Cool story, i know.

Johnny has hair - it’s just not what I call flow. The Swedes - I’m not sure because they all go straight back and they may end up with the Mangiapane look at some point.
I imagine Lucic could get a pretty good do going.

Of Leivo, Nordstrom, and Simon I’ve like Simon the best, and yet he’s the only on that seems to have to sit.

I'm with ya there, Simon looked good during the intrasquad games I thought plus the one(?) game he had with Johnny and Mony. Maybe he's just a victim of not wanting to change stuff up for the moment but would love to see him draw in again too.

Wow, great game. Missed the first period but saw the rest. Loved all the goals tonight... Tanev's toothless grin after scoring from his own blueline, Johnny's tap in from a slick Valimaki pass and then Mangiapane scoring to shut whoever that poster was who called him out for not doing much lol. Capping it off with Monahan's top cheese snipe in the SO and then Johnny's beauty with an adjusted move where he goes to his forehand through the five hole instead of his usual backhand through the five hole. Johnny's feeling it this year!

What a win. Johnny is definitely back.
Is it too soon to talk about Gio? I love him, but maaaaaan. His decisions are just a second too late and that pairing (specifically that side) are getting absolutely shellacked this year. The jets were dumping it in his corner all night. By virtually every metric the team's performance when he's on the ice is the worst of all defensemen this year. I hope it's just a phase that he needs to work through.

Was crazy to me that Leivo was on the ice in OT before Mangiapane.
Wards decision still make me scratch my head frequently. He probably should have used his timeout with little time left and his team tired after the icing call too.
Edit: Completely forgot that they made a rule you can’t do that anymore, so guess there was nothing he could do there.

I don't know off hand but I would bet you could find insinuations of such in a few of ricardodw's posts about Valimaki.

You can't call timeouts anymore after icings.

Mangiapane's goal is not getting enough love. Kicking the puck to his stick and then shot into the net happened so quickly - it had to because Hellebuyck moved just as quickly to get his leg out to try and stop it.
Mangiapane has had a slow start and, hopefully, this goal will get him rolling.

He was so into the intrasquad games, it got me excited. I hope he continues that.
