Bargain bin coach who will return to being an assistant after his short stint in Calgary comes to a close.

Treliving should be fired simply because he can’t hire a coach. Keep the amateur scouts, but fire the GM, coaches, and pro-scouts.

Like GG, he's a nice guy and a good x and o guy and well spoken and the players like him. Like him too much. They convinced BT to keep him.

BT got the guy he wanted to push the team and push buttons of individuals in Peters, who also had a good x and o pedigree which is why they did well.

Surprised they kept Ward, given the way they fell apart vs Dallas and his Talbot debacle, and mainly because BT knows this team needs a taskmaster not a softie.

Well the season is young. Win the 3rd period, and build confidence for the next game. There are no major changes for this squad anytime soon so at end of the day, I'd like to watch some good hockey.
