Hruds is awesome aside from all the botox he got. Looks ridiculous, like a girl who gets giant lip fillers - but let's be honest, I'm here for his insights and calling, not his looks.
I honestly had not noticed that at all. Now I will probably not be able to not notice.
I agree that he is great color though. I am surprised he has detractors among the Flames fans. I know Edmonton fans typically hate him - another reason I am a fan.
There's no way Cuthbert will be calling regional games. If he does, it will be the Leafs (I'm not sure how Sportsnet handles their Leafs regional games).

As much as I really like Ball, if there is a move, make it Ball to Edmonton or back to Vancouver and give us Chris Cuthbert.
Yeah, there is no way that Cuthbert ends up doing regional broadcasts, but if there was a deck shuffling I would not be opposed to swapping Ball with John Shorthouse. (But there is no way Shorthluse is leaving the coast either.)
[EDIT] The Canucks current radio guy is also very good; I'm not sure of his name, but if he were to move up he would be an acceptable replacement for Ball.

Dave Randorf is now the Tampa play by play guy. Didn't know Sportsnet let him go.
Is he replacing that guy who screams so much into the mic when his team scores, all you can hear is distortion? If so, then as much as Randorf is meh, he's still an upgrade.

If you watch the game synced with the radio you really see how bad he actually is.
Ball is easily one of the best. I remember watching him do some games in the playoffs for a Carolina series a couple of years ago. You would have thought he called Carolina games for years. Rick Ball is a pro, we are lucky to have him.
