Is this sarcasm? Of the top 10 goalies, I can think of 3 first rounders and 2 or 3 that were taken in the 2nd round.

Drysdale and Byram is a unbelievable pairing. Next time these two will be paired up is in an all star game.

The Horn of Doom goes off basically at the same time as the play whistle.

Classic, I'd forgotten all about that.
Wideman was so fun to watch that year.

This one by Gaudreau vs NSH is one I was trying to find:

I also remember Frolik having one or two (including
this one against St. Louis).
Honestly seems to happen at least a few times a year with the Flames.

Man this version of team Canada looks good. Just all dominance and swagger. And fast.

I'm actually surprised they don't have a softer pad on the back bar to catch/deflect those shots down into the net. I guess they've decided the video review will catch it instead, just seems like something that would have been sorted out a while ago physically instead of technically

Probably because teams like to win the Stanley Cup.
Name the last goalie drafted after the 4th round to win the Cup.
And the majority are 1st, 2nd or 3rd round picks.

Not going to lie I wish it was closer. Big leads are boring.

Good memory, I knew I had a Frolik one too.
That video doesn't show the horn going off 40 seconds later to stop play, but I included it in season video:
https://youtu.be/0ZMERnXpnEQ?t=401
Rick Ball and Hrudey know instantly that the horn = a missed goal. Which is why I was surprised Miller and Ferraro were speechless.

As I've been enveloped in fantasy hockey prep these last few days... What are th odds of these guys being influential in the NHL this season?
Stuetzle - probably plays most of the year on a bad team
Cozens - would think he either sticks as a 3rd liner for Buf or they'd rather he stays down for icetime
Byram - no idea, maybe gets a shot with Col, but that's already a younger D
Anyone else worth thinking about as a sleeper?

Wallstadt is going to be a stud.
Been playing pro hockey for years and is expected to be a top 15 pick next year.
Has a much more sound technique to his game.
He should have been in net for Sweden against Finland..

Cozens is currently 2 points shy of the all time Canadian record for 2 tournaments. He has been unreal.

Tim Thomas. But let’s only do one goalie quiz a day please.
