Ironically, it's probably been exactly a calendar year, of Fred being a top ball winning, defensive cm. Still leaves something to be desired on his first ball out, after dispossessing.

Despite all the offense, and defending through the middle, off the pitch, I'm satisfied that Shaw has Telles, & reading Trippier for AWB. Shaw was mediocre. AWB though, had a poor game, found himself in trouble a few times in teh 1st half. Gave away a prime opportunity for Leeds, and was bailed out by de Gea's outstanding save at 49'

Think Anthony Taylor's yellow for simulation on James, was harsh. Armbar across him up top. I think he's a good ref, otherwise.

Pretty solid performance for Spurs today. I felt like Stoke came out pretty well in the second half, but Jose played a strong side and Spurs showed up. I don’t feel like it cost them, but the keeper for Stoke was basically a third stringer. I don’t think he really botched anything, but it probably didn’t help.
I think that Brentford is a good draw for Spurs. Jose will play a top squad and all signs point to them playing to win these games.

Not EPL per se, but it looks as though Sunderland are going to be in great shape moving forward.

		| Kyril Louis-Dreyfus was announced as the new majority shareholder of Sunderland AFC today pending EFL approval - an exciting early Christmas present for long-suffering fans. |
If you're unfamiliar, the Louis-Dreyfus family (yes that one) is among the wealthiest in France.

I believe it is mandated that all of the players will be contractually obligated to perform 'The Elaine Dance' prior to all matches....similar to the Haka.

well that was frustrating. Led twice, but instead of putting the game away they concede twice thanks to individual errors again. Not good enough ... top teams are winning games like these. Dropped two points today.

I would think Abramovich will not be very tolerant of this. Could Lampard actually be the first to go?

They were good for a bout a 3 week stretch, but unimpressive otherwise. But if they fire Lampard, who can you bring in? Tuchel?

This is one of those cases (in my entirely uneducated opinion) where it might work out really well.

Everything this guy's family touches turns into success and he's been around successful business people his entire life.

I would say he is young but experienced.

I'm not entirely convinced that Sheffield will win a game this season.
This is the team that finished 9th last year.
