The solution?
Start Dan James.

Leicester are such an impressively run club. Sell Maguire, Söyüncü is waiting to take over, and they don't miss a beat. Sell Chilwell, James Justin is waiting to take over, and they don't miss a beat.

Disappointing game to say the least. Aurier commits a ridiculous foul and we barely create anything going forward. To top it all off, it was 90 minutes of Andy Townsend, who is my least favourite colour commentator. I wanted Spurs to come back just to shut him up.

well, it's a different kind of start to the game this time, so I guess I'll take it

Mctominay and fred, that 'huge bust' that fred, have become a really good 2 in a 4231 the last little bit

Have been very solid cover, but also mctominay especially seems willing to be a real box to box 8

Man what a dissapointing (but expected) week to be a Spurs fan.

Hopes of ending the week in first with two wins...instead 6 points back and in 4th after two losses.

Yeah, you won a trophy, but that trophy is an anchor at this point. It’s keeping Arteta in a job and any other club would sack him. I love it. Long may it continue!
You're the Oilers fans of the EPL.
You get cocky so quickly but never win anything. A week ago you talked like you had the league wrapped up.

I hate where Arsenal is at obviously, but you're not mighty anything.
I guess a terrible Arsenal is the best you can achieve in the sport, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Haha, nice try with the Oilers comment. I don't think that we had the league locked up, but we were clearly looking good (which is probably tough to admit for you). I still don't think that we're out of this though. It hasn't been a great string of games with a draw and a pair of losses, but there's a long way to go. I still think we win something and my thought on that hasn't changed with a couple of underwhelming outcomes.

I can admit Spurs look good. Kane & Son are clearly elite players (like McDavid & Draisitle); but like your Oiler counterparts it won't be enough to get a trophy.

I feel like the anguish of Flames fans is more akin to Spurs. We get close, and just not quite all the way, save for one day in years gone by. Of course with every new attempt and seemingly cresting of the mountain the fans get excited only to have our hopes dashed. That doesn't make us bad fans, it's just the price you pay for supporting a team that just never quite makes it.

Meanwhile, our rivals build a new stadium. They get all these players and they could actually be set. They spend a lot on these players, and the contracts seem really high! They're paying players a lot of money and they're not even playing for the team! They bring in forward after forward and offence shouldn't be an issue. They don't really have a defense to speak of though, and all these new additions over the years seem to be flashy instead of defenders or pieces that they actually need. The ownership is hilarious to everyone else in the league and while they go about trying to seduce Californians (in one way or another), their sports franchise languishes. The media presence created by the team and their fans is incredible. An ongoing pointless (albeit hilarious and meme-worthy) video chronicle of the franchise' continually missteps and mishandling of things for the rest of the sporting world to watch with glee.

So yeah...it sure seems like being a Spurs fan is a lot like being a Flames fan. If I didn't know better, I'd say that you guys were tanking on purpose...but surely Arteta knows there's no draft, right?
