Why has this thread turned into a debate on gun laws? The point is that people can't buy dildos and gigis and vibrating rings! It's because of this that the people in Alabama need guns...

Name them? I can tell you waht they do! And yes, i probably should stay out, however that's more because I don't think I could handle the stupidity of it's general population than anything else...

Freud did say that human beings did everything for sex or violence... so I guess Alabama law is taking a stand on their first choice.

So how did gun control stop the guy from doing that? It didn't. As stated before, if someone wants to kill another with a gun, no amount of laws will stop them.

In the UK you have extremly strict gun laws, however violent crimes with knives and other weapons has skyrocketed.

And that is one incident in montreal. There are always exceptions to the rule. How many shootings are there in Canada in a year, and how many involve registered legal guns?

I don't think your average hunter or target shooter or collector are the ones out on the street shooting people.

I wonder if there is a football internet forum in Alabama that is talking
about how perverse Canada is. A country where a 45 year old man can have anal sex or sodomize a 13 year old boy or girl, Heroin users get free medical and welfare; they are given clean needles and a place to shoot up with a nurse on duty to help them recover from their overdoses, You will get your guns confiscated if you shoot someone who is breaking into your home or raping your daughter and probably will be charged, Your ex-wife can get the police to come and confiscate your rifles if she reports feeling threatened by you, etc.

I looked it up too and my best guess is a realistic doll.

Ummmm, I'm not sure I spelled it right, but it's basically a rubber tube-like thing that simulates a girls hooey. Made special for the boys to assist with their self-satisfaction.

Hahahahaha, two of you! Yeah, it's just the tube, not a doll.

Simply put, the government should be separate from religion. Thus, religious "morals" should not apply to government policy and sex should be seen as a personal private act between people (any people... gay/lesbian, straight, bisexual, groups of people... who cares) and as long as it is between consenting adults... then the government should not be able to interfere.

This includes banning the sale of sexual aids, whatever they may be.

On the topic of the "Right To Bear Arms"... well, there is a reason that the murder rate is THREE TIMES HIGHER in the US (5.9 per 100,000 people) than Canada and the UK (2.01 and 2.03 per 100,000 people respectively).

This may seem obvious at this point, but I believe the "Right To Bear Arms" is the reason behind the higher murder rate.

I call shenanigans. You'll have to give an example where that is allowed.

As for the rest, yeah there probably is. What is the point you're trying to make? That we have to be correct before we can criticize (throw stones)?

I stand corrected. Right now the legal age of consent is 14 rather than 13. It is actually 12 but that is only with someone not more than 2 years older than them. As for the anal sex right now an unmarried person can't
legally have anal sex. However both the Ontario and the Quebec court of appeals have struck down that law as discriminatory. So basically with the
activist courts in Canada that old law is impotent.

http://www.parl.gc.ca/information/li...RENT%20LAW(txt)

My Point is that we live in a glass house. I bet the laws in Alabama have a higher percentage of support from the people who live under them. They express their particular sense of morality.

This whole thread is just an excuse to attack Christianity. There is no
biblical law that forbids sexual toys and all of the baptist material I've ever
read on sexual behavior see objects/devises as fine as long as it is consensual. Alabama has a culture older than Canada's. Although they
have a strong Christian history/presence it is not the only factor that motivates their moral standards. Obviously this same standard isn't reflected throughout the rest of the bible belt.

Why not a thread on one of the several nations that have laws that
limit religious freedom. There are Christians who are being imprisoned
and/or killed for having a prayer meeting or singing hymns. Yet the right
to purchase a dildo at Walmart is of greater concern to this board.

It is of great concern that the freedoms of people are being restricted in a civilized, industrialized, western country, and some would say the country that leads the free world.

The reason Christianity is being attacked is that the people who make these laws are Christians. That is plain and simple. The US government is religious, and their religion is primarily Christianity.

Whether or not, in your view, Christians disapprove of sex toys is of little concern, because the Christians in power in Alabama... do disapprove of sex toys.

Ok maybe I missed something, but nowhere in this thread did I see anyone atacking Christianity.

And as to your second comment... Oh Please... You want us to feel sorry for Christians because they are SUCH a laregely persecuted group in the world right? Sorry, not buying it.
