Its reverse retro it makes sense, someone should have given the memo to the Flames. Their jersey should have been white or yellow. Its reverse retro not lets change minor details to the 98 design and pat themselves on the back.

I always liked the Blasty shoulder patch more on the white jersey than on the red because of the white area around the actual logo.

I think this jersey would look better with the logo stitched right on to the black without the white outline.

I'm so not into that CF mountain logo that everyone on here seems to love so much. It's way too busy and yet kind of bland at the same time. I mean would it work as a shoulder patch? Sure. But it's nothing I'd actively cheer to get put on, and as a primary logo? Yeesh, that would be horrible.

Oh and the Coyotes win this thing hands down. I can't wait to see that one with the full kit. It's really too bad they didn't show all of these on a dressed up player in full equipment. But I get it with covid, just too much logistical stuff to do it.

Thanks for posting, love this graphic, as you can really see the pop of colour as a whole.

The middle section is the winner IMO:
Kings, Wild, Habs and Devils, all with great plays on their colours.

I used to hate blasty. But now I’m on board, especially for just the odd game.

I wouldn't have put any white on the jersey at all.

Blasty border in black, C and numbers all red with yellow borders. Not sure why white was used at all.

But overall it's ok.

Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of blasty, but if they were going to use it, the jersey had to be LESS black, not more black.

The Flames missed the memo on “reverse retro” completely. Big fail.

The original blasty was probably the worst jersey in Flames history, and they managed to make this version of it even worse.

Black gloves, pants, and helmets with this? My goodness that’s an embarrassing look.

I really like Tampa actually, That team has blown so many jerseys over the years, and exasperated things even further by liking the unforgivable nickname fad. I actually like that more than their black and white home and aways that they based it off. This was the reverse retro pulled off to perfection.

Other winners include St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Ottawa, Colorado, New York Rangers and Wild.

Clear losers are Dallas, Detroit and NY Islanders. The Islanders isn't bad it's just the decades long monotony of them making minor tweaks to the same damn jersey every few years and calling it new.

Man, there were so little winners in that lot. Colorado, NYR, NYI, Detroit, Ottawa. The rest has something majorly off with them. Retros are for some (not me) but the colours combinations look so 80s ugly. Flames one isn’t the ugliest but if the idea is to buy these jerseys, it’s a hell no from me. I don’t buy jerseys to wear as a grown man in general as they look ridiculous wearing on the street but IF someone were to ask me to buy one I sure wouldn’t be looking to get these. Fn ugly most of them. Yak!

Kuddos to Caps Devils Blues Canadiens Canucks and some others for really making a reverse retro jersey. Some of these are nice some are gross but its all in fun. Still Flames and Islanders fail for just tinkering with minor details and not really making a reverse retro. Rather see Flames make a black pedestal with blasty, and the Islanders use their current 3rd flip it to orange as the main color with their old Captain Highliner logo.
