I would be shocked if Mike Pence's political career wasn't done.
I am sure it is, but I think it would be better for him to just keep his head down. He gets nothing but the brunt of a lot of public hate if he goes that route.

Yes, when he keeps his head down everybody can see the fly more clearly
It’s as endearing as he gets

As horrible as he is, putting him in prison is a terrible precedent that will only lead to divisiveness and retaliation. Letting him go broke and having everyone shun him is good enough for me. I wouldn't be against a GOT walk of shame though.
Never before have you seen a president who used his position of power to enrich himself and his family, engage in the sale of state secrets to foreign adversaries (both trump to the Russians and Kushner to the Saudis).
He should be held to account. He should be prosecuted. He should be imprisoned. He is a criminal of the highest order. Go after his finances and it will all unravel.

I want to be optimistic and think he just goes away.
He will struggle with less mind share as
- the news quits covering his ranting as it is done and he is now just a lame duck
- all of the politicians who kissed his ass for 4 years abandon him because he is neither threatening nor useful
Oh, and divorce papers, probably by March.
#### him , the world is a better place without him getting attention, and he will struggle a lot with it. Especially with an unglamorous ending, and two months of decreasing relevancy. He will hate it
Actually, in light of the potential legal consequences, he may flee the country. But I don’t know, as that may be a smart decision for him, and his ego may somehow get in the way. Depends on who is advising him and if he can respect them

He will have some cash coming in from asset sales. He co-owns skyscrapers in NYC/SF with Vornado (a big US REIT). Vornado controls the joint venture, and has been trying to cash out, as they are doing some big developments in New York at Penn Station.
The rumors are that nobody wants to buy the assets while Trump is President because of the terrible optics. Once he is out of office and nobody cares about him (and I very much think he'll fade away) that will be less of an issue.
I think the most likely scenario is he spends his time golfing, a bitter and defeated old man stripped of the limelight and power. Rich, but deeply unhappy.
I'm thinking Trump and his family will be pardoned by the 46th President, Mike Pence, in the middle of the night some time before Christmas. They'll all get in the helicopter and get dropped at a nearby airfield where a private jet will take off for a destination other than the declared one. Trump will later be captured by bounty hunters in Mar-a-Lago because he figured nobody knew where his plane went so he went home.
The thing I look forward to most is on January 20th, when Trump inevitably tweets some of his usual tos-violating bull#### as Biden is sworn in and Twitter just deletes his no-longer-presidential account, erasing the whole record of his insane social medial behaviour and yanking the platform out from under him.
