Its interesting to see soo many Flames players being picked up. Isn't this an anomaly? Usually most of them are out of the league after leaving the Flames.

Yeah... one for the ECHL at least. I think Parsons is better off in the AHL going forward. The Flames probably give him a one year short term "show me" deal (similar to Rittich and Gillies in past years).

A younger pro that can push Wolf a bit when he graduates the CHL. The newly drafted Russian kid, Daniil Chechelev, is probably going to stay home for a little while.

Well, despite the lack of playoff results and notwithstanding the strange narrative of perpetual mediocrity around these parts the Flames have the deepest, most talented team they've had since 2009. Stands to reason.
