Haven't really read the thread, but my 1st choice for a 3rd Jersey would be black as the primary color. I know some hate that, but I've always thought it looked sharp with the right secondary colors, and red/yellow are the right colors to look good IMO.
I am also a fan of Blasty, so black jersey's with the Blasty logo would be my choice for sure.

I agree. I love the 04 jersey too, but I think teams should experimenting and doing things a little out of the box with third jerseys. Especially since we have nailed our home/away sets now.
Heck even a black blasty jersey based around black and gold hoodie above would be pretty cool. Modern and sleek like the Raptors OVO jerseys.

If you email the Flames store they might have some in stock that aren't listed on their website for whatever reason. I was able to grab the red hoodie with "CGY Hockey Club" on it not too long ago just by asking via email.

I feel like they need to put a pedestal under that horse head, and westernize the collar. Plus some vertical stripes on the pants.

Remove the horse, replace with Black C, and then use the 04 sock style instead of the ones they’ve been wearing for the past decade. I never understood why the socks on the last flames jersey didn’t match the sleeves.

I disagree. I like the original black Blasty jerseys but I’ve never seen a Blasty concept that looks good on anything but the original.
Bring back the black Blasty jersey exactly as it is. Otherwise don’t bother.

I really don’t like the black pants, gloves, and helmet. It makes the Flames look too much like the Devils or Hawks. I’d be happy with a 3rd jersey that incorporates black but worn with red pants, gloves, and helmet.

At first I wasn't sure about this idea, but then I checked to see if anyone else has ever done black jersey with red pants and helmet and found the Coyotes old alternates. It actually looks decent, so I wouldn't mind seeing the Flames try something similar.
