Yeah, that’s fair. But I think you can read into a players body language. When someone is that adamant, I’d keep him in. He’s supposed to be a good communicator. He should read the situation a bit. Ahh. I’m bitchin but I’m still so annoyed.

I'd like a hit this inning.

I still stand by that 3 innings was the plan all along. Shatkins wanted to force the Rays to starting bringing in pinch hitters and shortening their bench early in the game.

He has been missing those since day 1.
He is a very medioce defensive player

Finally. I’d pull him to get a pinch runner to get pressure on snell.

I wouldn't, he'll still get another at bat in the 8th or 9th probably, don't want Davis hitting then

Reason why I would is because of 0 outs. Three innings to go. Gotta go with the guy on base. Don’t want a DP late in this game.

He's actually a pretty good fielder.
And he has about 30 games in as a 1st baseman. Let's circle back after another hundred or two.

The Rays are unbelievable positionally. The Jays have more hard hit balls than the Rays but every single one has been right at a fielder.

I’d let Ray finish this inning and start the next as long as he doesn’t allow runners. Guarantee Montoyo doesn’t let that happen.

Down by 1 with 3 innings. Perfect spot for the Jays to pounce. Cmon lets see a deep ball!
