You know, having the line of flags with the golden eagles on them behind her is giving me a very familiar vibe... just can't quite put my finger on what it reminds me of...

Literally every president uses those flags with eagles.
Just watching highlights (lowlights?) from the RNC, I think the Republicans look to be doing just as good a job of rallying their base as the Dems did in their convention.
They stick with messaging that people in that bubble will believe in and get enthusiastic about, maybe even fervent.

The craziest part of the Cocaine Kimberly speech last night is it was taped. Did no one in that production think "Hmmm....maybe we should do a re-take with a slightly less unhinged feel?". Either way it's gonna be ratings gold watching this trainwreck, and as we know that's all Grandpa Adderall wants and cares about.

If one subscribes to the theory that all publicity is good publicity the republican convention is already a wildly massive success. It’s being discussed far more heavily than the democratic convention, memes making the rounds, it is in the forefront of everyone’s mind and CP is included. AdamSandlerThisIsHowIWin.gif
I refuse to watch any of this train wreck, but I appreciate the updates in this thread. Even after 4 years of this insanity, it's still hard to believe that this is real life. This is some of the craziest crap I've ever seen from a major political party.
2016 is the year that satire died; NOTHING can top the batshart insanity we're seeing.

You have to take into consideration the empty room. You can't write the same speech you would if it was on a convention floor with a packed house. You can't write applause lines or jokes. She looks like a raving lunatic screaming in an empty room, but if there was a packed convention center, they would have been on their feet screaming and cheering, and it would have looked like she was riling up the crowd.

Well if this is true than over the next couple of months Trump will be campaigning like a madman with his rallies and making the news for his craziness, while Biden will be nowhere?
Biden should let Trump shoot himself but will that work?
