Sorry. I just didn't like the incorrect accusation of moving goalposts.

Outside of the sharks and perhaps yotes, it just feels like the other Pacific teams have an upward trajectory over the next few seasons. Flames on the other hand are stuck in the middle, as usual.

I'm not saying their top talent isn't more valuable I'm saying that's not the reason they're still in.

Boeser isn't the player that Gaudreau is. And Miller certainly isn't.

Horvat is a different kind of player (Lindholm being a better comparable)

Congrats canucks, didn’t think you would take out the cup champs. Definitely a big step fwd for that organization. I too am jealous as a flames fan. Their stars were their best players and depth guys like Motte and Beagle contributed.

Props to VAN for doing what almost everyone here thought was impossible less than 10 days ago. They showed a lot of heart in this series. I'm looking forward to facing them again in the first round next year.
