Flames haven't played 1 second while trailing so far in the series. Keep that trend up and good things should happen!

Reider scores 3, Johnny scores 1 and Bennett scores 2
 Flames win 5-2

...It's because they have to call back one of Bennett's goals, they always have to.

Don't get men wrong—I am not down on Mangiapane. Quite to the contrary, I think he could become one of the most important players in the organization in the future. But I also don't think he needs to be insulated from criticism. This is his second playoffs, and he has already demonstrated just how impactful a player he can be. My point is that he is already there, and he needs to more consistently play the way he is presently capable of playing.

I'm looking for a big game from him today.

Downgrading linemates from Tkachuk to Reider makes a difference. But yeah, would love to see him make more of a difference.

Going down the River from the Ghost Dam, sadly gonna miss the game tonight.
Hopefully someone doesn't ruin the recording for me this time.
Someone on the shore seen my Flames hat and screamed "Shame about them Flames hey!?"
This time I ain't talking to strangers and I'm leaving the hat at home lol.

I'm going with 4-1 Flames.

I am sure he is in concussion protocol but from the sounds of it he will be good to go after he clears in 7 days so he should be good for game 6

Same message on repeat: Here's hoping the Flames' highest-paid forwards show up and have a dominating evening at 5 v 5. Gaudreau, Monahan, Backlund, and Lindholm have all been absolutely mauled this series aside from game one and that needs to change immediately.
I mean look at Lindholm's series event chart for instance. That is absolutely shocking. One shot on goal this series from along the boards in the neutral zone and no sign of life between the dots.

Here's Dube for comparison.

Here's to a huge road game getting the Flames one win away from the next round. Take the crowd out of the game early and take it to the Stars from there!

Flames in 6.

I'd say asking for a big game from Monahan in particular, and the rest of the top line is long overdue before looking elsewhere. It is not enough to chip in with special teams points once and a while.

While more from Mangiapane would be nice. To beat a good team in the playoffs you absolutely need your "top" talent to make a difference in at least a few of the games. This team is painfully close to breaking out in a big way with the way they've been producing from the secondary ranks.
