I dunno, I watch real life videos of Staples and Spector talking and I still get "entitled child" vibes.

They alternate between victim and high horse stances, and i don't see that as consistently in any other Canadian city outside of maybe TO. No one else around the league is even close with the kool-aid chatter.

And feeling sorry for their fans always turns to regret later in my experience. They have even a good two weeks and they're in your face saying things.

Nothing feels better than to watch the most empty-headed, spoiled and entitled fan base in sports get kicked to the curb yet again.

Oh man this is great. Not just the last 24 hours but Edmonton having to surrender the 3rd, Lucic and Talbot having a resurgence while Neal remains an unflushed turd that will just not go down. I have a warm fuzzy feeling in my belly for the first time since alcohol burned it out years ago. Everything just feels so right. Is this what love feels like?

But he's not! There are those who would argue he isn't even the best on the team.

Fastest? Probably.
Talented? Definitely.
Overhyped? Obviously.
Generational? No.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

So, in the five seasons since drafting a generational player, and adding to him the league's top goal scorer and the most prolific regular season power play in a generation, the Oilers have made the playoffs once and won one round. It's remarkable how bad that franchise is.

To add to our enjoyment, the Oilers are without a second and fourth round pick in this year's draft and will lose their third round pick this year or next (I'll bet it's next year).

You have to wonder if McDavid is still happy he committed to them for eight years.
