You can alledge anything before that but the fact the video show is not what whe accept to arrest a man down with multiple officers on top spreading his arms out on the pavent ahowing no resistance to an arrest.
Had this arrest happened 9 days ago, I wouldn't think much of it... I'd just go watch the Gracie Breakdown to see their technique critiqued, and go about my day. He is resisting, full stop. You can see him refusing to relax his right arm and give it to the officer at 0:09 to 0:11, which is what initiates the distraction strikes to the back of the head.
We have to be careful here. I play devil's advocate in this particularly instance only because "not resisting" is what George Floyd was doing as he was being murdered. If every arrest where the guy is flailing around and resisting is termed "not resisting" that leaves no room on the spectrum for people who are legitimately not resisting. This is not a "brutal beatdown".

This should be each officer's responsibility to make sure their bodycams are working. If yours was not during your shift, you should be immediately suspended until it can be determined why it was off. If it is determined you knew it wasn't working and didn't report that, you should be terminated. If it can't be determined what happened or why it was off, that's a strike. Three strikes and you're fired.
So is the point to clear the streets? Or is the point to instil as much fear as you can, and terrorize people who have been invited into private homes? They keep providing more reasons why these protests are necessary. What a disaster.

In short, the majority of problems in the world are, and have always been, the result of alpha male nonsense. Men being men. We need women to run things now. Women cops. Women politicians. Women policy and law makers. Men can go break rocks. Or lift things.
This has been coming for so long. There are millions of videos on youtube with billions of views showing just everyday rights violations by cops. They show how deeply corrupt and poorly trained police have become in the states and to an extent here as well. Racism and police related fatalities are the worst but the every day bully tactics and profiling and raging is why everyone is protesting and everyone has something to say not just POC.
Biden sounds pretty good today. A little campaignish. But at least coherent. It should be a gimmie coming after Trump's idiocy.

It's shocking to me how people can loot small businesses with the owner standing right there. Or in Vancouver 2011 when they were burning cars with the owner standing there begging them not to do it. What kind of humans do this?
At least when you loot a department store, the owner is faceless.
