Barry. Without question, start with Barry.

I wouldn't worry, in a few months we will all be begging for new content.

But ya, Barry.

Hopefully every sports league in North America will be playing by then and we will be overrun with live sports.

Finished The Servant on Apple+ last night.

I do not recommend. Just boring frankly. It's 10 episodes, about 30 minutes each so at least I only lost 5 hours of my life to it. It is set up for another season and while I usually have this issue with wanting to see things through, I don't think it will be a problem here.

I enjoyed it. Thought the acting was great and it moved well for me with some good twists and tense scenes. Looking forward to season two.

I don't know why, but I've been watching Comic Book Men on Prime and its strangely addicting.

Well, What We Do in the Shadows is every bit as good as the film. Baron's Night Out was a highlight, but the entire first season is top notch. Looking forward to catching up on the second season.

3's a charm, Barry.

It is without a doubt the best thing on TV, IMO.

It is a funny, sad, scary all in one.

Very well written with great characters.

NoHo Hank for the win!

Two episodes into the Great (Amazon Prime), I'm really digging it. Nicholas Hoult as Peter III of Russia is the sort of character that you just want someone to kill (and nearly everyone has reason to), and yet you know you'd enjoy it far less if they were gone. It's twisted and absurd and the dialogue is totally anachronistic, but highly entertaining.

Barry is great for sure and I'm glad I finally got around to watching it. I find that I am enjoying shows like Barry, The Servant, and Killing Eve that have shorter run times more than the typical 50 minute shows where there's more opportunity to stuff filler episodes into seasons.

I used to always watch it after The Walking Dead. I thought it was good fun. Those guys are just such giant goofs. And the non-stop sidelining of everything Ming says never gets old.

I’ll add to the Barry love.

Criminally under appreciated show. Bill Hader shines as the title character. And NoHo hank might be the best character in television right now. Unique, charming, and funny as hell.

Barry is pretty universally lauded. It's also won multiple Emmys

You’re right. Should clarify that I meant by popularity. Which is more likely because it’s HBO rather than network or big streaming services. It’s still relatively unknown despite being a fan and critical darling.

A guy at work keeps trying to sell me on Bosch. I really haven't heard much of it but it seems to get solid reviews. Anyone here recommend it?

My dad likes it and keeps telling me it’s good. But I have not watched it.

I very highly recommend it, IMO it is the best cop show there is. It's based upon Michael Connelly's book series about Detective Harry Bosch, each season is based on 1-3 books in the series. I've only just started reading book one in the series so I really can't comment how they compare other than the era has been updated from the early 90s to today. It stars Titus Welliver who was Silas Adams in Deadwood and Jimmy O'Phelan in Sons of Anarchy.

But a brief description would be Bosch is about a cop (who is former military) who lives in the shades of gray and it has had a negative effect on his career, pushing him out of the famed LAPD Robbery Homicide Division into being a detective at an underfunded homicide division.

Reese Witherspoon has been killing it the last few years. Between Big Little Lies, The Morning Show and Little Fire Everywhere she has really changed my view of her as an actress, which after looking at his filmography might've been foolish because I only really remembered for from stuff like the Legally Blonde movies and Sweet Home Alabama

I have read every one of Connelly’s books and enjoy them. Some have been made into movies like Blood Work with Clint Eastwood and Lincoln Lawyer with McConaughey. I can’t vouch for this TV series but the source material is great.

If only someone would make an Elvis Cole and Joe Pike series.

For the Bosch books it helps to be a little familiar with LA or interest in the area at least. I feel like the setting is a big part of the story. Your review has me interested in watching this show which has kind of gone under the radar.
