I don’t watch much college football but Queen stood out as a playmaker to me in the LSU games I caught.
Yeah that's the guy I (and most Saints fans, according to Twitter) thought Saints would pick once Murray was gone, especially with the LSU connection. Most mocks I saw were between him or Murray at ILB. I preferred Murray as he's more aggressive, Queen can be a bit tentative. But no question he's much better in coverage. That's a good pickup
Packers ruined the god damn last ten picks of the draft. I was in post-climax after they drafted Love and everything after that just didn't seem to matter. Can't wait to see how this plays out.
I like that Edwards-Helaire pick by KC to close out the 1st round. He was fun to watch with LSU, surprised he lasted that long. Chiefs just stacked on offence

It's always premature to declare winners and losers on draft weekend as there are a lot of instances of highly graded drafts not playing out well and poorly graded drafts playing out better than expected by the draft pundits. That said I can't defend the Raiders 1st round. I knew Ruggs was always going to be a possibility due to Gruden's envy of the Chiefs speed on offense but Arnette at 19 IMO is the worst pick of the first round based on the information we currently have. I have no doubt he would be available in the 2nd round or even 3rd round and it's just poor value not to trade back if the guy you want is not a projected 1st round pick. NFL didn't even have video on him because they took the 58 guys they expected may go in the first round and probably could have gone back to 80 and still wouldn't have contacted Arnette. When you look at perennial bad organizations there's always trends or indicators of why they continue to fail and the Raiders really do need to sort out their issue of getting poor value with their 1st round picks.
This has gotta be so sad for Packer fans to see, it so perfectly encapsulates how little help they've given Rodgers despite being the best QB in the league for half the last decade.
One thing I enjoyed was seeing coaches and GMs families wandering around, mugging for the camera, waving. and generally just being kids. Brought a human element to the night and showed these guys in a completely different light than we normally see them. It was refreshing.
Fired up for Day 2 tonight. I can tell I'm hurting for sports because I've never been so excited to watch a round my team doesn't even have a pick in (Round 2). Though knowing Payton, that could change
