Ruggs had the 3rd best numbers on his own team while at 'bama.
But for sure...he is a speed demon. He just wasnt expected to go before the other 3 is all. This stuff happens a lot....and the Raiders are often in the mix.
He could end up being the best of the bunch though...but holy smokes is this ever a deep deep class of wideouts.
Really hoping Jefferson falls to the Packers. perfect compliment to Adams.

Yeah I don't really have a problem with the pick. It's just exactly who I expected them to take, simply because he is fast

Which 3 were expected to go before him? he is 2nd or 3rd on every list I have seen...and obviously teams didn't rank the other two as high as the "experts"

Don’t be so defensive. It’ll play out once the season starts. It’s just surprising is all, I didn’t see any mocks that had him going before Jeudy and Lamb. Hell a lot of people thought Denver would get him because the other two would be gone.

He said "he wasn't expected to go before the other 3"
I am asking which three because I don't believe that to be accurate at all

Whoooooo caaaaaaaaares. Enjoy the pick. Lord it over everyone if he’s great. You’re going full Fox News over a one. Fine he wasn’t expected to go over the other two, not three.

Dude....relax
Both Jeudy and Lamb were almost universally ranked higher and Jefferson was often right around him as well.
Not a big deal

Besides the Raiders second pick of the night was significantly more of a reach.

sorry buddy, I thought we were here to talk about the draft...I think he is the best deep threat (19.5 yards per catch) which is what I think they wanted and why they drafted him.

Eagles pick is a little surprising. Can’t say the TCU kid would be my first choice but the WR room is so thin after the whiff on JJ last year, snitch Alshon burning bridges, and Agahlor leaving they need all the help they can get. Wouldn’t hurt to get Shenault in the 2nd or 3rd as well.

It’s fine, I’m sure Rodgers will be as gracious mentoring Love as Favre was with him.

Cue the drama in GB. Rodgers is not going to like trading up to get his replacement in the first round and neglecting the chance to get him tools as well.

Two picks before the Saints and the 2 guys I wanted - Jefferson and Murray - go the two picks before...serenity now! As soon as I saw the trade I knew it was for Murray, Chargers knew Saints wanted him.
Centre was a surprise, I'm sure the plan is to bounce either Ruiz or 2019 2nd round pick C Erik McCoy over to RG and replace Warford. Vikings game plan was to exploit the interior line in that Wild Card game which they did with great success, after Murray came off the board I think Payton went BPA to address it.

I like that pick for the Ravens.
I don’t watch much college football but Queen stood out as a playmaker to me in the LSU games I caught.
