At this game? That is some serious fudging of numbers if that was what was reported. I think they added an extra one at the beginning for sure.

Boomer on the radio said they would have put the over/under at 11,500. Were actually surprised. Might not have been reflective on TV.

Maybe they were all in the cheap(er) seats in the upper bowl off camera? Huddled in a corner?

Was going to say,

Hope they realize they have a collection of the most notorious homers calling and presenting their games, as well as the most openly "invested" local writers this side of the continent.

I don't know how Cassie comes anywhere close to the jerkfest they're fed every day up there. When she starts coming off aroused by an unspectacular play by Gaudreau or she starts talking about Tkachuk's personal life to the extent that you'd think she probably stalks him from his bushes, then we can talk.

If this team can figure out how to win on home ice they can still push for home ice or even the division crown for this season. I am feeling a lot more optimistic about the offense as of late and have liked Gaudreau’s game of late.

The Flames are second in scoring since the beginning of February. Third since the ASG.

Flames have a very generous home/road split the rest of the way. Need to get the home thing figured out. Might be time for the fans to get into playoff mode and just giver rather than waiting for the team to do something to cheer for.

I prefer that the Flames's shortcoming that needs to be addressed is their home-ice record. Of anything that needs to be fixed that seems to me to be the easiest one. It is a better situation than say, Vancouver, and faced with having to fix a terrible road record.

Cheer like there's reason to, and the team's performance will match it.

Nashville fans seem to understand this best. Sure worked out for them in that last meeting.

Watching this group, I do like where theyre at. The "new" 3M line has been great and the new additions look good. We havent seen enough of the new look PP to guage if its going to be an asset or not. The inconsistent efforts and boneheaded plays need to be cleaned up, but every team goes through that.

The main concern I have going forward, is the effectiveness of the Monahan line. Yes Johnny looks like he's getting hot and Lindholm has a career high in goals, but repeatedly when going up against some of the premier lines and players in the league, they arent just losing the battle theyre getting dominated. That is a concern in any playoff series.

Not sure where else to post this but I find it pretty interesting. Not saying advanced stats are the complete source of truth but it does put into perspective that maybe Ward and the Flames aren't all bad.

Can someone please show "Bat Flip Rittich" out the door and welcome "Icy Veins Rittich" back into the room already.

David Hoffner, he works in my dad's store
He's worked here for 12 years, he'll probably work here four more.

I never really thought that, people just overreacted to the Oilers loss for 3 weeks straight

I'd have to agree based on what their shot counter was doing. They take a shot at our net, goes off a dmans skate and bounces into the corner. They considered that a shot on net. Happened a few times at least.
