Did someone say they were getting behind Biden? Or did they just reject a clearly incorrect characterization of him as somehow worse than Trump?

Get behind him? I'm Canadian, I can't even vote.
I don't care who wins the nomination I hope they defeat Trump in November. I'm not a Biden cheerleader, though.

So some girls say he acted a bit creepy, or invaded their personal space. Every one of them said it was not sexual harassment, just uncomfortable. That's somehow now grossing me out? Joe's shtick has always been the not afraid to touch you to tell you how he feels. There's no stories about him asking a girl out, cheating on his wife, trying to sleep with anyone. There's no stories about off color comments about staff.
I don't want Biden to be the nominee because he's old, not a leader, and worst of all he keeps saying the republicans are going to want to work with him which means he's going to give in all the time to their ridiculous demands.
Warren has always been the best on policy, Harris the best to debate Trump. Butigieg is too much of chameleon to have any coalescence when it matters. Bernie risks alienating the centrists with divisive rhetoric. He has too many skeletons for the general. Show the video of him talking about Castro or the Soviet Union ad nauseum and Trump is a 2 term president.
All of the candidates are superior to Trump in policy, morality, judgement, experience.
To say that Biden (suggestions he invaded personal space or made them feel uncomfortable) is worse than Trump (17 credible accusations of sexual assault, multiple recordings of him bragging about sexual exploits, slept with a porn star while his wife was at home with a newborn, makes gross comments about his own daughter's sexual attractiveness) is literally stupid and a transparent attempt at defelction.

nfotiu quite literally said that, and he's the only one here that can vote for him. Though, my comment was about the greater internet in general, if not the sighs of relief from within this thread.

If Biden is comfortable acting that way on camera, what's he like behind closed doors? And it's been shown he runs in the same circles as other high-profile pedos. Certainly not enough to conclusively call him a pedo but if I had to put my money on it...
At the very least he must be some kind of sexual degenerate, there's a very good reason why sexual degenerates pop up in politics a lot more frequently than other professions, it's because they're easy to Blackmail and manipulate. Just pump some money into some charming, smiling sexual degenerate, give them what they need to feed their desires, and watch them go to work for you.

What in the actual ####.
Get out of here with this stuff. This is not productive to a discussion. That is, unless you have some substantial new evidence to back up these spurious accusations.

If Biden is a big of a degenerate as you say, where are the stories? All I can find are stories about how genuinely caring here was in private. I get people don't like the candidate, but it's a little rich to call him a degenerate.
He's by far not the best candidate. I'd have voted for almost all of them before Biden. Bernie is absolute worst case scenario for the general election and Trump would beat him very easily

I think any of the current Democratic nominees would be better than Trump with the possible exception of Bloomberg. The question is, has been and should always be: "Who turns out the most Democratic voters?" Biden? I doubt it. Buttigieg? Certainly not. Bloomberg? Not a chance. Warren? Maybe. Sanders is the most likely to get the vote out, particularly among young people. That said, he is also the most likely to lose independents, although they usually are not the one's deciding Presidential elections.

No, even Bloomberg would be significantly better. You would actually have to try pretty hard to do worse. It would be easy to find someone just as unqualified, but most of those people aren't deluded narcissists, and would at least recognize what they don't know and take direction from qualified advisors.

With everyone else the question for the voter is “Is he better than Trump?” The difference with Sanders as the nominee is that the voter is left with another question of whether they can vote for a socialist or not. You can’t ignore that there are a number of people that will say no to that question and will either stay home, split their ticket or vote for Trump. I am very skeptical that Bernie’s young support is enough to overcome that. There is no evidence that he is bringing out large turnouts in these primaries. He actually now trails Biden in popular vote so far.

Is being a Liberal better or worse than being a socialist?

I think Bernie takes a bigger beating from the establishment for not being Hawkish moreso than being a Socialist.

While the margin of victory for Biden was massive, him winning in South Carolina was expected, as it will be for the southern states with the exception of Texas. Bernie will get edged out again in those states where Biden has pretty deep loyalties and an advantage in the demographics, but everywhere else, Bernie should be poised to have his own large margins of victory over the others, including Joe.
South Carolina being immediately after Iowa, NH and Nevada also helped Joe in a similar fashion to how Hillary bounced back after Obama won big in Iowa by winning NH and Nevada if you believe in the notion of the sympathy bounce where supporters turn out big to ensure their candidate stays in the race while the media is calling their demise.

It really shows how important speech writing is in American presidential races. Americans love a good speech, it can totally swing those voters, completely independent of policy.

I don’t get Canadians being for Bernie. He is the absolute worst choice for us. A win would see Keystone XL get killed for nothing more than political theatre. There would be little to no benefit to the environment either. US will just keep building pipe just like they did under Obama.
Bernie will also legitimize and strengthen the Liberals, NDP, and the Greens. one thing we cannot stand is the US being more woke than us. Its bread into our insecure nature. You will see Justin double down on anti corporate policy and Jagmeet gaining ground spouting all sorts of crazy.
Sure maybe some people in the US will be better off, but us Canadians will pay the price. I’d rather someone who we can work with than 4 years of us getting worked over.
However seeing some of the smear Burnie fanatics are coming with shows me this is ideology driven. Begging for Canada to suffer so some sort of team across the border can get a symbolic win is baffling.
