I’m not sure anyone is arguing. They’re just talking. On a forum dedicated to conversation.
It’s fairly cordial considering the clear discrepancy on the fact the color of the pen I hold in my hand is royal blue.

Speaking of fighting, I think it is quite humorous that Kassian is being called a smart hockey player because he declined Tkachuk's first challenge because "it wasn't the right time of the game".

I made a similar point earlier. Using an asset like Mchobo and his incredible speed comes with it's own sets of risks. If he is going to skate at record speeds with the puck then he is going to get hurt more often than James Neal. Defending players will often not have the time to ensure safe checking, and the impacts he endures are going to be frequently extreme. Defensemen can't be expected to lunge out his way for fear of hurting him.

So you think that Giordano doesn't play recklessly at times and this hasn't led to other players being injured?

He was either reckless on the hits on Fowler or Koivu or he was malicious. You pick. There is no inbetween on those two.

There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with his check on Aho.
There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with his check on McHobo last Spring.

The arguement was that there was 4-5 players, not 2.

I agree those were reckless, but that's only two. Oil Stain claimed four or five, which is clearly wrong.

Ah, so now we have moved on from 4 or 5 times to: "play recklessly at times". Got it. Nice and vague there.
How many players do not "play recklessly at times"? Even his Worship McDavid plays recklessly at times.

And what about the slash that McDavid did seconds after the Giordano "trip" (where nobody actually fell)? Is that reckless? respectful? dangerous? careless? or was it acceptable because he was skating fast?
Goddamn oil fans are whiney bitches.

He has injured 4 or 5.
It's because of a pattern of reckless play. Last night when he stuck his leg out on McDavid is just another example.
Thankfully nothing happened and it should have been just a 2 minute minor, but you do that enough times and some of them turn out bad, like Koivu.
I'd be curious to see how many other players have been involved in this many injuries in such a short span. Can't think of any on the Canadian teams.

Bobby Ryan was really bad and blatant too.
I like said, it doesn't take many of these for a guy to get a reputation.
For the record, I still don't like the Aho one. Much like a player needs to be incontrol of his stick, he should be in control of his body.

Gio has played 2 1/2 times as many games as McDavid.
They have been suspended once each, for 2 games.
Both were reckless in these two incidents.
I see no other recklessness in the other Giordano episodes that you have previously mentioned.
Aggressive or forceful?
Absolutely!

Or his hit from behind on Tkachuk 11 days ago.

Lifetime Suspension

Edmonton will, but I won't cry for Connor when he injures himself again because he doesn't anticipate defenders are not going to get out of his way when he wants to skate around at 40km/h.
Game 82 last year was his own fault, and whatever that was last night was a non-event that should be put to bed. Incidental, looked sketchy, but nothing intended and nothing happened.
Go home and accept your losses like grown boys.

Would you not say that every time McHobo winds up in his own end to hit the neutral zone at full speed he is enacting an element recklessness?

Perfect body check. Primary contact and force is shoulder to chest.

Not sure what that has to do with anything considering we are talking about incidents in the last two seasons.
I think Giordano is losing a step and his competitive nature won't let guys beat him so he reacts badly.

Except that he didn't.
He was facing the boards. McDavid cut inside. Giordano tried to throw his butt out at the last second. McDavid clipped his foot on Giordano's foot.
Contact sport played at high speed. It happens. Giordano did not 'stick his leg out'.
