You are basically asking him to cost us the game Kassian style, he’s too smart for that.
I doubt Kassian would fight Lucic. He's too much of a #####.

embarrassing isn't it

since McDavid came along they get some ridiculous calls, did you even watch the game?

compare calls on Gio, Robinson, Rinaldo

Oilers on the other hand didn't slash, hold, or cross check one time

Oilers with zero hooks, holds, slashes, cross checks this game apparently

I know what you’re saying. The league and its tv partner Sportsnet clearly would rather see the McDavid in the playoffs. The ridiculously favorable schedule they had last season catching tons of tired teams and facing few back to backs was an absolute farce.

Now Oiler fans (and I'm sure Media) going on and on about Gio's knee. Does this fan base ever tire of being an absolute joke.

2 min interference call sure, but intent to take out the "best player to ever play" ....lol

Actually get a grip Edmonton. Pathetic

This is why I love Oiler fans

This is why I hate SN. He answered the bell, fought Kassian, and this is still what they go with on set after the game

biased analysts...are you ####ing kidding?

There is already and angle out there proving it wasn't a knee at all

While the Kassian Tkachuk thing is done, Nurse laid a cheap shot,Flames went after Neal, Rinaldo drilled Driasital, Khara was sniffing around for trouble. Lucic a bit quiet but if as the Edmonton media whip up the typewriters to decry Giordano, causing the impending distraction of another answering the call Saturday, hopefully Lucic snuffs that out. No one wants to take him on.

I most definitely watched the game, as I watch every Flames game.

Yes, let’s let the Oiler fans do the whining...

They excel at it.

Way to go, Flames!

Also, this little nugget from the HF boards: "Gaudreau invisible again but the Flames still manage to win."

Well, yeah..that's what happens when your team doesn't have to depend on 1-2 players to get the job done.

The funny thing is that Tkachuk won this stupid battle of Alberta thing. He had a assist, played a good game was plus 2 and had 3 shots on goal, and was noticable.

Kassian fought Tkachuk and didn't really get much. Went to the dressing room and probably pee'd himself when Rinaldo said I'm next, and then vanished for the rest of the game. He wasn't a physical presence, He had one really good chance where he was on the two on one and telegraphed that he was shooting and where he was shooting all the way in. In a game where he should have had a bigger part, he was nowhere to be found.

If Tkachuk can stick up for himself and fight out of his weight class then surely McDavid can drop the mitts with old man Giordano. I’m sure Gio will honour the code and give him the opportunity.

This is BS, the replay shows wrong, there was no knee incident here, if anything it was a butt incident, and a 2 minute interference call. I don't give a good $$$ $$$$ what the majority of the fans and Analysts imagine or make up when the replay clearly shows that they're idiots.

McDavid had a nice 2 handed battle axe to the gut of Hamonic right after the Gio play.

But that's not a penalty either.

As a kid I watched the whining led by the biggest whiner of all time.

35 years later a new generation of whiners continues their great tradition.

Got up at 04:45 to watch the game.

God I love the taste of fresh coffee and Oiler tears in the morning.

We should send them some Oiler pins to wear on the broadcast. Why hide any longer?

Hopefully this year is their swan song on YYC airwaves. McDavid fellating blowhards.

It maybe could have been a weak interference call sure, but have a mind of your own. It was not a knee in any way, shape, or form. And no this is not an opinion.

I need a bath - I looked at HFOil. All mad because Monahan started swinging before RNH “was ready”. What, you mean like Kassian last game?
