Someone here posted a few days ago (can’t remember who) that if Kassian didn’t react the way he did those hits wouldn’t even be getting attention and that couldn’t be more true.

If Tkachuk’s hit was so dirty how come nobody was talking about it when it happened?

Bright side if TSN gets the Flames rights. The glorious return of Andi Petrillo to my viewing screen. She's so good. And pretty as well, but really good , like up there with Leah Hextall good.

Edit: but yeah, ball and Hrudey have to come too. Is the radio contract tied to the tv deal too?

He was doing colour for Saturday's game, and in the moment had no problem with any of Tkachuk's hits on Kassian.

I would hope any TV deal going to TSN would also include TSN doing a Calgary radio station.

Gotta be one of the longest delays for a "standard" hearing for the judgement to come out. Usually it feels like the DOPS posts the summary video as the hearing is still on...

There is a long time place in my heart for 960 and their flames coverage, as much as we might not like certain aspects of it. Hopefully radio rights are retained. That would be too big of a change.

I will laugh if it is a fine. That would basically set a precedent that is it free game to try and kill a player after a big hit.

Decision probably has made the Oilers are probably just holding out on any announcement before the NHL video because they are loving the free Zac media campaign. As soon as the NHL video comes out, Zac will be painted as the dumb arse he is.

TSN can just trade 1260 Edmonton for Sportsnet 960 in Calgary.

Then TSN can work on getting a half decent streaming app.
