They said pregame that Talbot has the second best save percentage in the nhl since December 1st. I am assuming after tonight he has the best safe percentage since December 1st. Definitely has earned another start.

Mmmmmm. No.
Shots in the second period were even, and both goalies made several 10-bell saves. The Flames definitely fell into a defensive shell in the third period (likely in large part due to score effects), but the game was pretty evenly played up to that point.
Talbot was awesome.

Wasn't pretty but I'll take it. Talbot looking really good right now, calm, quiet and confident. Nice to see from him. Figure he has to start until he loses no? I think he's earned a little run here.
I love Andersson and Ryan, they always seem to do the right thing, a treat to watch.

Yes, the Flames' excellent PP in the 2nd where they had 5 shots was the reason the shots were equal. But 5v5 the shots were 15-9 in favor of the Wild in the second

Talbot made 42 saves. Hard to say a team played great at home when their goalie had to make 42 saves.

Ehh, probably shouldn't have posted it, but I didn't see the need for personal insults in response for me posting statistics so I thought "why not?"

Not pretty but flames need to start racking up points in any way possible.
Talbot stole the team a win. Haven't seen that much in a decade. Hope he can keep it going.
Oilers and flames both on a roll going into Saturday's tilt. I have no idea what to expect from this team in 2 nights.

Meh. One team was pressing hard for the tie, while the other was protecting the lead. Ten of those ES shots came after the Flames scored the game winning goal. All told, these games happen from time to time; it's not something to get worked up about.
The Flames won!
