Gotta feel for Talbot. He deserves to have a few more wins under his belt. The team has let him down far too often this year.

It's crazy to me how the Flames went from a legitimately great 5v5 team last season to a very meh 5v5 team this season under Peters, to a very poor 5v5 team under Ward

Team is just snoozing and apparently have already hit the break.
Team lacks want and pride.

Stone looks steadier than Hamonic and Hanafin.

Thankfully this is Stone’s last season. One more season under the cap but that is less painful than watching him try to play hockey.

The D - D pass was awful at the blueline. Second turnovers like that in the 2nd.

Flames losing every single battle for a loose puck. Lazy and disinterested.

Good point. I forgot how boring the wild are. Even if there was nothing else to watch, I wouldn't watch the wild play (normally). Zaps any energy I have.

Hamonic is poor at defence as well. He and stone are 6/7 dmen masquerading as legitimate NHL dmen.

Stone has been our best player of this game so far.
He's gotten the most chances or generated the most chances.

I wish this arena had clear boards like the St. Paul Civic Center.

Talbot is playing really good considering the rest of the Calgary Flames stayed in Dallas last night.

For every post praising Stone, there's a post saying he's the worst on the ice. Seems about right.

The Flames, for the most part, don't win or lose games because of things Stone does or doesn't do.
Where are the so called best players? Already thinking ahead to their Xmas plans?
Team had an opportunities to enter the break on a high but it doesn't seem to be that important to them.

He also lost his guy on the second goal. I would take a #6 damn who plays good defense over two point shots.
Harmonic is also being exposed. Has his style of play caught up with him?
Should add, Flames win this game 3-2 in regulation.

So is stone our best player on the ice today or is he so bad we can’t wait for the year to end so he is gone? Opinions seem to be contradicting.(not watching at work)
