A lot of mental mistakes...missing net etc.
Mentioned earlier, 4th game in less than 6 days with substantial travel.
Mental fatigue is a nasty opponent. Flames have certainly displayed great physical effort.
Still time to pull it out.

Actually, possession is what triggers it. You can’t avoid an offside by skating beside a puck until a tag up. The refs blow it down.

Delayed penalties are blow dead all the time without “possession”. That’s irrelevant to this offside call.
