At the bottom of the image it appears to be a quote by David Amber.

If you open the tweet, looks like a quote from David Amber of Sportsnet; would assume on-air or something.

Ownership did want Sutter but went with Treliving's guy. I wonder how hard it would be to get him out of Anaheim if thats the move?

What happened with Marner is the beginning of the #metoo movement for coaches. I think this is the beginning of many players releasing information about how they were emotionally abused by coaches.
Peters is done and at the end of the day this could save the Flames season.

I get the reference, it's simple. But MeToo is about sexual assault. Let's leave that one alone in regards to this.

Funny how you suggest I don't know any more than you do, which is true, but you seem to be the one coming up with ways to make it look good, or at least as good as possible, rather than waiting for facts.
As for throwing stones, I called your theory non-sensical because it is. Not you.

Do you like finding hostility out of nowhere?
Most of what is being said in this entire thread amount to
"He's guilty"
"Let's wait and see"
"What context could we ever accept an apology?"
"There's a bunch, here's one wild one what came up earlier"
*out of nowhere* "You people and your mental gymnastics on a discussion forum!"

So it's clear you were super early on the "Peters is bad train" - to anyone taking notes, please take note.
But if you read everything people like me posted... you might get an impression of where I'm leaning. I just decided to offer a bit of reason for pause instead of bull-horning 12+ hours (or, as you put it... "immediately") later

If this comes to be true at all. Peters is gone. But as always I hate that these kind of allegations come out so late. I understand Aliu likely was not comfortable sharing this prior but I wish the victims often would come forward sooner

There is no chance at all that something like this would happen.

The NHL took a pick away from the New Jersey Devils for the Kovalchuk contract. Although, that was obviously for cap circumvention and not off-ice conduct.
If it turns out that the Flames knew about this or there were future incidents that occurred while Peters was with the Flames, I believe the Flames would at least get a hefty fine. Especially if this becomes a media ####storm.

Calm down... You are jumping to MASSIVE conclusions there by assuming that there are future incidents. And based on tre's reaction in the presser I would hazard a guess they had no idea about this beforehand.
