I got my Wii on BB.ca Friday and my Nunchuk today on costco.ca all thanks too check4change.

Check4change could be a great tool for NHL trade deadline day.

Now all I need is a remote! (I was five minutes too late at Wal-Mart today).

It's amazing how much the word of mouth essentially around the Wii and how fun it is has made it so popular - and how far the PS3 has fallen in 2 months here. I got an email today from console watch about PS3's on the FS website so I went and checked it out. 6 in stock. Checked back about 20-30 minutes later and they still had 3 left. I thought if this was the Wii, they'd been gone 29 minutes ago... Nintendo was unbelievably smart to take this route with the Wii - and come in at a price point that isn't going to cost everyone a g-note to get going on the system.

I heard FS and BB update their sites for Wii's on Tuesday - hoping to snag one...

Check4change is a POS... I set it at 15 seconds but get false alarms most of the time.

On BB or FS.com what text are you highlighting? I'm highlighting "Quantity Remaining: 0"

Works just find if you use it correctly.

Don't highlight anything on the item page. Instead, add it to your cart and monitor something like "Some of the items in your shopping cart are not available for shipment." Also create a log in and store your credit card information on the site. This is a neccessity since you have a very short time to complete the order once it tells you.

I followed those completely... and it worked ok yesterday but not today.

So, I've been on consolewatch for about 5 days now waiting for a Wii to come up on Futureshop or Best Buy. Nothing yet - do they have a certain day(s) each week that they get shipments in and update their stock or is it totally random? Just curious...I missed where one update was today so I'm hoping I didn't miss out. But the past couple days there have been updates from Cosco so I'm hoping it was there again today (they have a bundle for sale which a) I'm not interested in b) I'm not a member anyway).

I talked to Toys R Us last saturday when they got 40 wiis in. I guess people were lining up at 3am still. Picked up the last copy of warioware. pretty fun.

This is not meant to be a gloating post,

Im so glad (and extremely lucky) I was in the right place at the right time when I got my Wii on December 27th.

Spitfire, have you checked with EB games in SouthCentre, I only ask becuase when I brought it up, the guy non-chalantly (sp?) said, "we have Wii's".

Well, if the page takes time to load, then c4c will need more delay before it checks the page, or else it will think it changed.

Try highlighting different text as well.

Got a nunchuck off of bestbuy.ca today using check4change. Success #4 for me.

This Wii hype is amazing..I mean, the holidays are gone, and people are still lining up and scouring high and low for these things..when will they be readily available to just walk into a store and purchase?

I'd have to guess by Mid Feb they'll be nicely stocked... hopefully sooner.

I'm actually going to wait on it... I just bought Phoenix Wright 1&2 for DS and am a tad low on expendable funds.

Ebay, for about $35.. I'm actually about to recieve pt 2 in the mail tommorow and likely pt 1 next week so i'm going to have to stare at the case of pt 2 until I get the first one shipped to me.

I've been looking for the game for months with no luck, should've gone to ebay earlier but this means i'll get to play both back to back.

I don't know if it's just the Wii console page that's slow loading or some trick BB.com is doing so people don't hammer their site but it doesn't matter what text I highlight or if I set it to 15 seconds or a full minute.

I've tried it on other sites (Monitoring my PM's when I was selling tickets yesterday here at CP) and it works at 15 seconds.

Anyways, just expressing further frustrationg with c4c... Back to Console Watch it seems

Last Friday BB.ca released about 50-60 wii over the day. About 15 at a time.

I had two windows open - One with the stock highlighted. The other had a will in my cart.
When I heard the song I hit checkout.






Now all I need is a hockey game
