So yeah I mean Krahn is probably the most affordable guy for them to keep on the show.

I suspect they are each getting about the same per show pay, which means not very much, and that they will continue a rotation. Commodore and Krahn for sure have regular jobs (not sure about Sarich) so I doubt a full time gig is in the cards (plus they can just be contractors and not employees that way).
I tend to think this is just a hobby for each of those guys anyway, with a possibility of getting into it more if it's fun. I think Commodore and Sarich might have their eye on more TV work. Commodore seems to like publicity (based on his tweeting past) and Sarich obviously is cultivating an analyst gig, and he's done OK on Flames games working with Leslie (and carrying around Francis).

Sarich having to do NFL picks cracks me up, seems legit nervous and zero confidence leading into the segment haha, you can feel his dread..I'm actually really enjoying the former NHL player revolving door they have going lately, it helps to keep it fresh.
..it still pales in comparison to the prime Boomer, Warrener and Pinder days, but certainly better than it's been since that got split up. I'm struggling with who I like best, I'm actually fine if they just keep it the rotational way it is.

Yeah I do enjoy the three-man rotation they have going, all the guys having different strengths which helps.
Sarich - He has the best insight into behind the locker and on-ice tactics that makes him the best "sports" guy with respect to hockey. He also helps keep the show more in the sports track if you like that over the non-sports talk.
Krahn - Definitely the goofiest and funniest one. Him and Boomer also have really great chemistry which harps back to Boomer and Warrener a bit more. Also thought with him Klein really came out of his shell a bit more (though that doesn't matter anymore).
Commodore - Think he is a really good mix of Sarich and Krahn. He also does have some good insider sources and seems to have good relationships with a ton of former players which is unique for the three. Also think he has the best non-hockey knowledge of the three, so when they are talking baseball or football he has the ability to talk about them.

I just wish Commodore would let loose more on the guys he hates, like he does on twitter.

Brouwer does a good job of explaining the whole Glen Gulutzan "roll the same 4 lines over and over" thing today. He used Quennville as a comparison - rarely would you finish with the same linemates as you began the game with when playing for Joel, because he would shuffle based on who was playing well and who wasn't feeling it. Like the way Peters cuts out his 4th line minutes and relies on his top 9 guys later in a game, but more aggressively.
Gulutzan was more, "I'm going to give you guys a 6-7 game segment and if it's not working out, we'll re-evaluate"

Appears that Sarich has won his PTO. Glad it wasnt Commodore as he often talked up his BFF James Neal. What a goof!

The conversation this morning around 7 was riveting. Best segment I've heard in a long time. No sound bytes or mocking people, just straight honest hockey talk comparing ex player and radio host perspectives for s solid 20 minutes.

It's badly deformed and I just assumed most players once their career was done would get their teeth and noses fixed. I'm surprised he doesn't have nasal issues.

Is Pinder the really smug condescending one? If so, I get it.

Good recovery though. Not like that Nault-Pinder blow up a little while back. Pinder pretty much has that effect on his co-hosts, normally Pat can handle it with all his experience on overtime, but maybe he’s had a bad week or something.

I've been wondering if this is why Will is on the morning show now?

I do notice that Pinder's gotten a bit worse on afternoon show in terms of injecting his opinion and talking over other people's opinions (or "Pindering" people). He used to do it in the morning show too, but Boomer and Rhetro were able to force him to dial it back down because both Boomer and Rhetro had more of an alpha dog mentality. With Pat, because the guy always tries to be so agreeable, I find Pinder seems to take advantage of that and goes off more, which I do agree gets a bit annoying.
But good for Steinberg for fighting back a little more. He should do it more regularly and not just let Pinder "Pinder" him all the time.

Pinder doesn't seem to understand that playing devil's advocate doesn't work when there's only 1 actual opinion in the room.

They briefly said that he made his PTO and that hes now signed for long term. I try to listen everyday and this was the first mention of this that I've noticed. I thought they were just going to keep rotating guys but it sounded like Sarich is the dude which is good. I do really like Kraun though so hope he has a few guest spots.
