God, that season was so hard to watch BEFORE I was a father. I can only imagine how I'd feel watching it now.

I watched the first episode of Tin Star tonight, and found it quite promising. Tim Roth, Christina Hendricks, and a setting in Alberta all bode well

Anyone watched more?

Started watching Succession. Three episodes in, and for a show lacking any likeable or redeeming characters it is oddly addicting.

It's like an adult version of Arrested Development.

the new Nancy Drew has started and the wife and I decided to give it a try.
kind of fun. you know it's not the old school Nancy drew when in the first 5 minutes she's having sex.

Adam Beach has an ongoing role, as does the original nancy drew, pamela sue martin.

I just finished the first season of Timeless and really liked it.

Kind of an old school 80s style TV show where the characters have to go to back in time to stop a terrorist who wants to change the future but it gets cloudy as the series goes on on who is right and wrong.

Plus Abigail Spencer is really cute. I'd never heard of her before buy she's great.

Perhaps “serious” version of “Arrested Development”is more apropos.

Haven’t seen anyone mention Snowfall on here. Got caught up on all 3 seasons in about a month. Season 1 a little slow but season 2 and 3 were very good.

Also the source of some of the best GIFs on the internet. Many of them are NSFW as well.

Season 2 starts real strong with Johnny Hitler and then kind of flounders. S1 might be the funniest season of a show ever put on TV tho.

Anyone watching Workin' Mom's? CBC just put it on Netflix and man, those Reitmans are a talented family. Showrunner/star Catherine Reitman (Ivan's daughter, Maureen from It's Always Sunny) is an absolute treat. Show gets a but dark from time to time but each episode has some solid laughs. Would recommend.

Yup, I was happily surprised when I saw it was the ''sensible chuckles'' guy.

Great show.

The dynamics and dysfunctions of the Roy family makes the Bluths look like the Berenstain Bears.

Is it not on Netflix anymore? That's where I watched it (but that was a few years ago).

While watching the new season of Disenchanted on Netflix, I noticed that my toddler daughter would actually sit and watch with me, instead of demanding that I switch to some mind numbing Youtube kids show. After finishing the new season I was desperate to keep this up, so I bought a Hulu subscription just because they have the full series of Futurama on there. Now she'll sit with me and watch it because "I like the funny robot", and I get to enjoy it all over again since I've forgotten so much about it. Total win
